England lock Simon Shaw has joined French club Toulon until the end of the season after expressing his desire to leave Wasps.
The 38-year-old agreed a new deal with Wasps in the summer but, according to the club, requested it remained private until his return from the World Cup.
Shaw joins England team-mate Jonny Wilkinson at the Top 14 club.
And former Australia back Matt Giteau has also moved to the south of France, agreeing a three-year deal.
Former British Lion Shaw has 71 international caps and featured three times for Martin Johnson's side in New Zealand this autumn.
He joined Wasps from Bristol in 1997 and went on to play 339 times for the Adams Park side.
