A late Michael Le Bourgeois try ensured Jersey extended their winning streak to four games with a 12-6 win at Blaydon.
Steve O'Brien touched down to give Jersey the lead but two Gavin Painter penalties handed the hosts the half-time advantage.
For the second game in a row the islanders saw two yellow cards, Ashley Maggs and Graham Bell were sin-binned.
Le Bourgeois' try kept Jersey's run going, while Blaydon have now lost four successive games.
Despite the victory the island side drop a place to ninth spot in National League One while Blaydon fall to 11th.
Elsewhere leaders Ealing Trailfinders lost for the first time this season, going down 22-20 to Jersey's next opponents Barking.
