Launceston lock Ben Hilton was one of seven scorers for England Counties when they beat Spain in Valladolid.

Forwards coach Dave Baldwin praised his players after the 55-6 victory over the host country.

Baldwin said: "This has been an exceptional tour from day one and to win a test match against Spain is the perfect combination.

"They're a great bunch of lads who have trained really hard."

Hilton was joined on the scoresheet by Steve Thomas, Ollie Thomas, Aaron Myers, Charlie Mulchrone (2), Gareth Collins and Rob Baldwin.

Baldwin's thoughts were echoed by RFU Junior vice-president Paul Murphy who said: "It's been fabulous, and this match, which involved some superb rugby, was the product of the hard work by the players and the coaches over the two weeks."
