Long-serving Nottingham skipper Craig Hammond has agreed a new one-year deal.
Back-row forward Hammond has spent 10 years in the East Midlands, playing 240 games and leading the side 205 times.
The New Zealander said: "I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The club has been very good to me and I want to continue for as long as possible.
"My whole rugby career in England has been incredible with Nottingham and I'm eager to be part of the success in the coming years."
Green & Whites director of rugby Glenn Delaney told the club website: "Craig has been a focal point of our club for a very long time and will continue to be so.
"He sets the playing standards that we expect and has huge respect within the game as an uncompromising and committed player.
"I have been privileged to work with him for the past six years and look forward to continuing to do so."
