National League One: Wharfedale 22-33 Redruth

Redruth RFC

Redruth kept their hopes of National One safety alive with a bonus-point win away at Wharfedale in their final game of the season.

The win moves Reds out of the relegation places and two points above Sedgeley Park who have one game left.

Redruth ran in five tries at Threshfield, with Steve Wood, Mark Bight (3) and Tom Notman going over.

Steven Graham, Tom McGee, David Hughes and Talite Vaioleti were the try scorers for the home side.

Redruth finish their campaign on 62 points, while Sedgley Park who have 60 points must beat fourth-placed Macclesfield next Saturday to move out of the bottom three and send Redruth down.
