Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has signed a new two-year deal, keeping him at the club until the end of 2017.
Former Great Britain international Anderson took over at the John Smith's Stadium in July 2012 after the departure of Nathan Brown.
The 43-year-old led them to the league leaders' shield in 2013.
"We've been talking about it for a while and it has taken a bit of time but I had no intention of walking away from here," he told BBC Radio Leeds.
"The club is crying out for success and I want to lead that. I want my own piece of history where I can lead this club to some glory.
"We've got some stability and we're trying to re-sign more players, as well as add to what we have got."
