Widnes Vikings have announced a dual registration deal with Championship side London Broncos.

The agreement will allow the Super League side to send players to London, who have a similar deal with Wakefield.

Vikings half-back Tom Gilmore has already had a spell playing for the Broncos this season.

"As London Broncos sit outside the main corridor, they have the ability to dual register with a number of clubs," said Widnes head coach Denis Betts.

"Every club has the ability to set up an agreement with London, as well as another partner club.

"As well as our dual registration agreement with Whitehaven, we will look to use our agreement with London to provide Widnes players with opportunities to develop their careers."

Widnes currently sit 10th in Super League having won three of their opening nine games, while London lie fourth in the second tier with five wins from eight so far.
