Hull KR have signed Canberra Raiders prop Dane Tilse on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 30-year-old will join up with the Robins in two weeks time after making his 200th appearance for the Raiders.
The Craven Park side were looking for a replacement for Mick Weyman, who retired last month with a knee injury.
"It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind but I've heard good things about the club and it's exciting," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"I was looking to come to the U.K and Terry Campese told me the fans are fanatic here. I've only heard positive things.
"Canberra have been great and I have to thank them for supporting me off the field."
