Tonga international and former Hull FC forward Epalahame Lauaki has joined Wigan Warriors on a three-year contract with the option of a further year.
The 17st 2lb 27-year-old joined Hull in 2009 and went on to make 54 appearances, scoring five tries.
Lauaki, who was released by the Black & Whites in September, said: "I am looking forward to be joining such a big name in the game as Wigan.
"I feel very proud and honoured to become part of the squad."
Warriors head coach Shaun Wane added: "Epalahame is a tough physical player who can play at either prop or in the second row and I'm sure he will flourish in our Wigan system.
"His size makes him a threat to any side and he also has a great offload. He will certainly add firepower to our squad for the forthcoming season."
