Bradford Bulls prop forward Steve Crossley has left the club after having the final year of his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 21-year-old made two appearances for the Bulls last season.
Bulls football manager Stuart Duffy said: "Steve needs regular competitive football to keep developing his game.
"But with the rules at the moment the opportunities for him to play as an over-age player in the Under-20s competition will be limited as well."
He added: "I'm pleased to say there's been quite a bit of interest from elsewhere so I don't expect Steve to be without a club for very long."
Bulls scrum-half Cain Southernwood, meanwhile, has joined Championship side Dewsbury Rams on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old, who has represented England at academy level, joined the Bulls from Wakefield Wildcats in 2009.
Duffy said: "This is a great opportunity for Cain to play at a higher level. He needs to be playing regularly and developing his talents on a weekly basis and that is something he will get at Dewsbury.
"He will have a lot of responsibility to organise the side and it is something we are looking forward to seeing him do on a regular basis."
