Catalan Dragons' Fiji international centre Daryl Millard has signed a new one-year contract, having arrived on a short-term deal in February.

The 26-year-old started the season at Wakefield before being sold by the Wildcats' then administrator.

He has since scored five tries in 13 appearances for the French side.

Coach Trent Robinson said: "I am excited to have Daryl for next season. He has shown his ability as an attacking threat and quality defender."

A product of St George Illawarra, the Australia-born player joined the Canterbury Bulldogs and played for Fiji in the 2008 World Cup before moving to Super League.

He scored 11 tries in 22 appearances for the Wildcats in 2010.
