Gateshead Thunder have re-signed back-row forward Ade Aderiye on a short-term deal until the end of the 2011 season.
The 26-year-old, who lists Doncaster and London Skolars among his former clubs, scored four tries in 20 games for Thunder during 2010.
"He is hungry to take the opportunity for the rest of the season," Thunder director of rugby Chris Hood told the club website.
"We know he will give his all for Thunder as he has done in the past."
Hood added: "We are speaking to several different clubs, all at different stages, with a view to bringing in several players for the remainder of the season.
"Ade is the beginning of this."
Meanwhile the club have confirmed that David Norman has left the club because of work commitments.
