Coleraine brothers Peter and Richard Chambers secured bronze medals as part of the GB lightweight four at the World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland.

They finished just under six seconds behind winners New Zealand with the Denmark crew in second place.

The Chambers pair, along with Mark Aldred and Chris Bartley, won their semi-final on Saturday.

Fellow Coleraine man Alan Campbell failed to reach the semi-finals of the Single Sculls.

Great Britain won four gold medals at the season's third and final World Cup event.

Olympic champions Helen Glover and Heather Stanning won the women's pair, while Kat Copeland and Imogen Walsh claimed the lightweight double sculls.

Alex Gregory, Mohamed Sbihi, George Nash and Andrew Triggs Hodge led from the start to take the men's four gold.

Graeme Thomas, Sam Townsend, Charles Cousins and Peter Lambert timed a late run well to win the quadruple sculls.
