Coleraine rowers Alan Campbell and Richard Chambers both progressed to the finals of their events at the World Cup regatta in Munich.
Campbell finished second in his semi-final on Saturday behind Germany's Marcel Hacker.
Chambers and his British team-mates are defending world champions but qualified only third from their semi-final.
Peter Chambers took a silver medal with his British team-mate in the non-Olympic lightweight men's pairs final.
German Hacker (6:55.38) was fastest qualifier in the single sculls semi-final with Campbell some distance back in second (6:58.51).
Hacker was fastest qualifier ahead of Norway's Olympic champion Olaf Tufte.
Switzerland won the lightweight fours semi-final in 6:01.56 ahead of France (6:02.19) and the British boat of Chambers, Paul Mattick, Rob Williams and Chris Bartley.
Both finals take place on Sunday morning.
