Mon 06 Aug 12: Trinidad and Tobago's Jehue Gordon finished sixth in the 400m hurdles final of the London Olympics.

"I (am) proud... I didn't run the back stretch like I did yesterday (in the semi-finals) but I finished strong and I am happy about my place. It was a good race," Jehue said after finishing in 48.86 seconds.

Sun 05 Aug 12: Qualifying for the 400m hurdles final in London, Jehue Gordon has set a personal best and national record of 47.96secs.

Thu 07 Jun 12: Jehue Gordon finished second in the 400m hurdles at the Oslo Diamond League meeting.

He crossed the line in 48.78secs - a season's best.

Thu 31 May 12: Jehue came fourth at the Rome Diamond League meeting in a time of 49.55secs.

Fri 27 Apr 12: World Olympic Dreams have been back to Trinidad to hear how Jehue Gordon is keeping his feet on the ground ahead of the London Olympics.

"Right now I am in a position that I can help my family. Hopefully we can live a better life and everyone can feel more comfortable at home."

Sun 11 Sep 11: Jehue Gordon set a new personal best time of 48.66secs at the Berlin World Challenge meeting.

Tue 30 Aug 11: Jehue Gordon missed out on qualification for the final of the 400m hurdles at the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea by just one hundredth of a second.

Finishing third in his semi-final, Jehue's time of 49.08secs was not quite fast enough to progress to the final of the event in which he came fourth at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.

Jehue was only allowed to compete after last-minute negotiations between the competition's organisers and Trinidad and Tobago's athletics association that initially failed to register the hurdler.

Trinidad has a new Olympic hero

Tue 23 Aug 11:Jehue Gordon was reportedly missed off the list of Trinidad and Tobago athletes entered for the 2011 IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.

A release from the Trinidad and Tobago NAAA said Gordon's omission was an oversight for the Games, where Jehue is due to run in the 400m hurdles.

However, on Tuesday, Jehue indicated on Facebook that the situation had been resolved, posting: "So I finally got the news that I for through to run the 400 mh for my country. We are going to go ALL OUT."

Mon 15 Aug 11:Jehue retained his 400m hurdles title at the National Championships and set a new season's best time of 48.75secs.

Sun 10 Jul 11: A year before he hopes to run at the London Olympics, Jehue had a chance to acclimatise to the UK's wet and windy conditions. Jehue finished behind Dai Greene at the 2011 Birmingham Diamond League in 49.21secs to come in fifth.

Thu 26 May 11: Jehue has qualified for the Olympics by running 49.09secs at the Diamond League in Rome.

Responding to the BBC via a social networking site, Jehue wrote: "I ran my sb [season best] last week in rome 49.09 qualified with the A standard for world champ an olympics already so just tryna improve now an get ready for wrlds".

Wed 29 Dec 10: Jehue has been named Memphis Athletic Club's Male Athlete of the Year whilst a local newspaper, the Trinidad & Tobago Guardian, has awarded him Sportsman of the Year.

Thu 9 Sep 10: Jehue will not participate in the Commonwealth Games but will start at the University of West Indies in Trinidad where he'll be studying sports management.
