BBC Sport - Ten-man Linfield hold on to beat Crusaders 2-1 in a stormy affair at Seaview

Linfield hold on to beat Crusaders at Seaview

Crusaders suffer their first defeat at home in the league since the opening day of last season as Linfield run out 2-1 winners at Seaview.

Aaron Burns and Andrew Waterworth gave Linfield a 2-0 first-half lead.

Linfield's Jamie Mulgrew and manager David Healy were both sent off after a scuffle, however Linfield would hold on despite Jordan Owen’s consolation goal.

The result sees Crusaders' lead over Linfield at the top of the table reduced to four points.
