MJ Tierney completed a 1-10 tally after Laois led 0-9 to 0-3 at half-time.

Tierney's seven first-half points all came from frees with Anthony Thompson and Michael Murphy on target for Donegal in the opening period.
The in-form Tierney rattled in Laois' goal in the 42nd minute as the home side extended their lead to eight points.
Molloy quickly responded with a Donegal goal and the visitors cut Laois' advantage to 1-11 to 1-9.
However, Donegal's prospects of completing a remarkable comeback was halted by Michael Hegarty's 49th-minute dismissal after a second caution.
