Colin Turkington leads the British Touring Car championship by nine points after winning two of Sunday's three races at Oulton Park in Cheshire.
The BMW driver held off a sustained challenge from team-mate Rob Collard to win race one and then won race two with a comfortable margin to spare.
The Portadown man came in fourth in race three but was upgraded to third after Jason Plato received a penalty.
Plato was given a 1.5 seconds penalty for an incident involving Turkington.
The eace was won by Irish Volkswagen driver Aron Smith, who led from lights to flag in tricky conditions for his second career win.
In the day's opening race, Collard remained in touch throughout but never got close enough to make a move.
Turkington produced another dominant display in the second outing, for which he started from pole position following his initial success.
He was first off the line and not even a safety car period could disrupt the 2009 champion as he immediately rebuilt his lead following the re-start.
The 2009 champion now heads the standings on 183 points, with another former champion Gordon Shedden second on 174.
