Canadian rider Dan Kruger has confirmed he will race at this year's Isle of Man TT for the Penz13.com BMW Racing Team.
He will join Worcestershire's Simon Andrews in the German team, run by Rico Penzkofer, and the pair will also contest the North West 200 event.
"I must thank the team for making this opportunity happen, allowing me this chance of a lifetime," said Kruger.
"I am very excited and feel really fortunate to have Simon Andrews as a teammate," he added.
Kruger will travel to the Isle of Man this month to complete a mandatory two-day newcomer induction.
This year's TT takes place from 24 May to 6 June.
Team principal Penzkofer said: "I am really looking forward to this season in particular having a Canadian racing for us at the TT, and also giving Simon Andrews a chance to show the world that he is back from serious injury and he means business.
"Dan has really dominated over in China these past few years and is ready to take on a new challenge.
"He shows the maturity needed to safely take on the TT. I am really looking forward to working with him and I am pretty confident he will adapt to the BMW very quickly."
