Eugene Laverty and Jonathan Rea secured fifth place finishes in Sunday's World Superbike round at Imola in Italy.
Toomebridge rider Laverty was fifth in the opener on his Aprilia while Rea from Ballyclare came in ninth.
The two NI riders tangled in the second race but stayed on their bikes and Rea, who was unscathed in a high-speed crash in practice, took fifth spot.
Laverty was one place back in sixth while both races were won by series leader Carlos Checa.
Honda rider Rea is sixth in the standings after two rounds on 29 points while Laverty lies eighth on 19.
Rea suffered a fast high-side crash on Saturday but it didn't prevent him qualifying in seventh, with Laverty just over half a second behind in 11th
Rea took fourth and seventh in the opening round of the series in Australia last month.
Laverty finished eighth in one of the races and failed to finish the other.
