John McGuinness says he is proud of the Honda TT Legends team after they finished seventh in their debut year in the Endurance World Championship.
The team completed their season with a fifth-place finish in the 8 Hours of Doha at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar this weekend.
"We've finished three races this year with three fifths. It's a fantastic achievement," said McGuinness.
Glen Richards rode first before handing over to Keith Amor and McGuinness.
Morecambe racer McGuinness continued: "Looking at the race results, you've got teams with massive experience and world championship titles above us so we're the best of the rest, if you like.
"We strung eight hours together no problem and as a team we brought the bike home.
"It was quite an experience to finish the race here and the 8 Hours of Qatar is another thing to tick off my list of things to do. I have to mention all the boys in the team - they've worked mega hard," added the 17-time TT winner.
The team, which includes TT riders Steve Plater and Cameron Donald, also claimed fifth-place finishes in the Bol d'Or and the Le Mans 24-hour race.
