Jamie Coward set the pace in the third qualifying session for the 2011 Manx Grand Prix on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old from Hebdon Bridge lapped the Mountain Course at 114.971 mph, to top both the Senior and Junior time sheets.
Manx rider Dan Sayle is hot his heels in the Junior class (113.553 mph), followed by Skerries' Michael Sweeney.
Andrew Brady (113.859 mph) and Andrew Farrell (112.0570 mph) followed Coward in the Senior class.
Last year's newcomer B race winner Jonny Heginbotham also impressed with a fastest lap of 111.678 mph.
Stuart Garton topped the Junior Post Classic leaderboard (105.222 mph) and Castletown's Chris Palmer was quickest in the 350/250cc session (100.097 mph).
Scotland's Mark Buckley set the fastest Classic Superbike time (114.385 mph) and the second quickest lap of the night.
Meanwhile, Wayne Hamilton posted the fastest newcomer time of the evening with 110.663 mph to establish himself as an early favourite for Saturday's race.
Elsewhere, Joe Phillips posted the fastest Supertwin time (107.444 mph) and Billy Smith was fastest in the Lightweight class at 106.453 mph.
Thursday's qualifying session will get under way at 18.20 BST.
