Buxton manager Jack Lee admits the 2011 season has been tough following the glory of last year's all-conquering National League campaign.
The Hitmen find themselves bottom of the table after 12 meetings following Sunday's 46-47 home defeat against King's Lynn at the Hi-Edge Raceway.
Lee said: "After last year it's such a disappointment but we have just got to keep sticking at it.
"Hopefully one day we'll get all seven riders scoring at the same meeting."
Lee added: "We have got to get some motivation from somewhere and just win a match.
"We thought we were going to do that but unfortunately it went against us towards the end, and all the lads are down in the dumps about it."
