Scott Nicholls believes Swindon Robins can turn their form around after a poor start to the Elite League season.

Robins sit bottom of the table with just three wins from their 12 meetings.

The side are now on a two-week break because of international fixtures and meet Coventry at the Abbey Stadium on Thursday, 9 June.

"There's been a little bit of a dip but I'm confident we can get we can get back to winning ways," Nicholls told BBC Wiltshire.

Swindon were edged out 49-41 by promotion-chasers Belle Vue in their last league meeting.

Simon Stead returned from injury to compete but was beaten 5-1 in the penulitmate round, and the Robins were also without Maciej Janowski who was on international duty with Poland.

"We were missing Magic [Janowski] - he definitely would have got us a few points," said Nicholls.

"He could have put two points on our board and taken two of their's and it could have been a draw.

"I'm confident that when we get Maciej back we can get the boys fired up."
