Injured duo 'more brave than stupid'

MotoGP championship rivals Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa will each race with broken collarbones during this weekend's United States Grand Prix.

Both riders insist they want to compete despite their injuries in order to minimise their losses to each other as they the fight for the world championship, and deny their respective teams have put them under any pressure to compete.

Lorenzo broke his left collarbone in practice for the Dutch Grand Prix before aggravating the injury a week later in Germany, while championship rival Pedrosa was forced to withdraw from the race at the Sachsenring following a similar accident.
