Boston's Ben Wilson has re-signed with the Gearlink Kawasaki British Supersport team for a fourth season.
Wilson, 29, was runner-up in the series in 2011, losing out to Alistair Seeley in the title race by a single point.
"I need to be with a team with which I could win the championship and having come close, we think we can go one better," Wilson told BBC Lincolnshire.
"I had offers to go to Superbikes but I want to be somewhere I know I can win. I don't want to be just an also-ran."
Wilson won nine races in the 2011 British Supersport Championship and took a further nine podium finishes but lost the title fight with TAS Suzuki's Seeley in the final race of the season at Brands Hatch.
