  2. Are there any Brits in action?

    British Ski and Snowboard sent three female and two male half pipe skiers to Sierra Nevada.

    Sochi Olympic competitor Rowan Cheshire qualified for today's final in fifth place meaning she runs second. But 2016 Youth Olympics gold medalist Madi Rowlands and Molly Summerhayes, the younger sister of slopestyle skier Katie Summerhayes, both failed to qualify after finishing 11th and 15th respectively in qualifying. 

    The male British competitors are Murray Buchan and Pete Speight also both failed to qualify. They finished 16th and 18th respectively in qualifying.  

  3. Today's running order

    This session will start with the first women's run followed by the first men's run. There will then be a break before the second runs and another break before the third and final runs.

  4. How does the competition work?

    A series of heats took place on Thursday to determine which skiers qualified for the main event.

    The event is judged and there will be three runs for both the men and women competitors to decide the overall winners.

  5. What's on today?

    This session will cover the Halfpipe Ski finals, which will include three runs from both the female and male competitors.

  6. When are the Championships?

    The Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding Championships place from  Wednesday 8 – Sunday 19 March 2017  in Sierra Nevada, Spain.
