    GB Davis Cup captain Leon Smith: "It's been two tough days but amazing days. I'm not feeling calm and collected but I'm so excited by what these guys are putting out on the doubles court.

    "We should be confident now and we've got a good squad to choose from. Everyone has had a chance to play too, which is important."

    Britain's Jamie Murray speaking to Eurosport: "We played a great match from start to finish. We started quickly, were aggressive and didn't give them time to settle.

    "I don't like to give them time, that's my style and Neal did a great job, playing some great tennis. We're so happy to get to the quarter-finals."

    Team-mate Neal Skupski: "It's gone to plan so far. We all put the work in. We play Germany tomorrow, that's another tough match."

    Murray's overhead is hit back at Skupski and he slices it into the far side of the court. 30-15.

    Murray's volley is a bit too safe and Kukushkin gets a stunning forehand in down the line. Carlos Ramos, the umpire, calls for a challenge to make sure but it's the right call.

    Skupski serves big out wide, which Murray swats away but the Brit wastes a golden chance to hold in the same position moments later.

    Kukushkin serves to a 40-0 lead in no time before Skupski catches Bublik out at the net. A wide forehand brings Britain up to 40-30.

    But the Kazakhs hold on comfortably.
