  1. Guess who's still about?

    Andy Murray!!!

Yes, his first-round mixed doubles match with Serena Williams was box office.

It was quite incredible to see those two combine for the first time and look at ease in their win, rather than struggle under the sea (Disney references stop here!).

Murray, who is gradually getting his full tennis legs back, was excellent but Williams...that was as good an individual display you will ever see in a Slam doubles match.

The pair will continue their quest against 14th seeds Fabrice Martin and Raquel Atawo - it will be third on Centre.

Francesca Gunn: "If she does then she'll be entering a whole new world..." that's Aladdin mate

Actually Part of Your World, which was being referenced, is from The Little Mermaid

  3. Serene-a

    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

It is not often that Serena Williams takes the more public route out of the practice courts - there’s a gate at the back away from the cameras and the fans that she often chooses to go through.

But today she delights the fans crammed around the entrance with a wave and a couple of autographs.

She’s got two matches on Centre Court today but she looks relaxed.

  4. Move over Murray & Williams it's time for...

British duo Evan Hoyt and Eden Silva have a third-round mixed doubles encounter against Joran Vliegen and Saisai Zheng which is just about to get under way on court two.

You can watch that live on this page.

  5. Konta wants to be 'part of your world'*

    Video content

Video caption: Konta outlasts Kvitova to reach quarter-finals

Yes, Ash Barty you started something when you included Disney references in your news conferences.

But in this case, British number one Johanna Konta really wants to be part of your world and the world of Simona Halep and, of course, the queen herself, Serena Williams.

Konta wants to be a Grand Slam winner.

She came close two years ago when she got to the semi-finals here, and she once again came close when she got to the last four at Roland Garros a few weeks ago.

Could she? Might she? Come Saturday...

If she does then she'll be entering a whole new world...

    Right, enough of that.

    Here's your quarter-final line-up:

    Centre Court 13:00 BST:

Alison Riske (USA) v (11) Serena Williams (USA)

Barbora Strycova (Cze) v (19) Johanna Konta (GB)

    Court One 13:00 BST:

    (7) Simona Halep (Rom) v Shuai Zhang (Chn)

    (8) Elina Svitolina (Ukr) v Karolina Muchova (Cze)

    *It's from The Little Mermaid!!
