  1. Goodbye

So that's all after some very speedy work from Johanna Konta at Roland Garros. If you missed any of the match, you can read Jonathan Jurejko's report here.

Come back tomorrow, we'll have coverage of defending champion Simona Halep as she faces Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko at 10:00 BST.

  2. 'I'm really pleased'

    Konta 6-2 6-1 Kuzmova

"I had a lot of things go my way today," Konta said on ITV after the match.

"I knew going into the match that I had to do my best to not give her the opportunity to have the time to play well.

"I'm really pleased with that. I'm taking it one match at a time. I'm really pleased to get through this one and give myself the opportunity to play another match here."

  3. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-1 Kuzmova

Konta, who is 26th seed, will play Croatian 23rd seed Donna Vekic in the fourth round.

  4. Post update

Elsewhere, Swiss 24th seed Stan Wawrinka won the first-set tie-break against Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, while Stefanos Tsitsipas had two break points saved in the second set after he won the first 7-5.

  5. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-1 Kuzmova

So Konta just played for 54 minutes, but she still managed to squeeze in 20 winners and five aces.

That was a woman who meant business.

  6. 'Tremendous effort from Konta'

    Courtney Nguyen

    WTA reporter at Roland Garros

I don't think she will be wiping that smile off her face any time soon. It was like she was saying 'I just did that. I just played one of those matches that you will put in the scrapbook.'

It was a potentially difficult match but the way Konta played, she took that racquet straight out of Kuzmova's hand and the youngster didn't know how to respond. Tremendous effort from Konta.

  7. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-1 Kuzmova

Konta is the first British woman since Jo Durie in 1983 to make it to the fourth round. What an achievement.

  8. Post update

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

What a performance from Konta! There's a smile and relief that she has won because that is the tennis she has been looking for and building up to in the last six months.

  9. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-1 Kuzmova

So Johanna Konta has been ill this week...

She didn't look it at all. She's just swept Viktoria Kuzmova aside in 54 minutes.

  10. Game, set and match Konta

    Konta 6-2 6-1 Kuzmova

Wow. Totally dominant. Johanna Konta smiles as she reaches the French Open fourth round for the first time.

  11. Post update

    Konta* 6-2 5-1 Kuzmova

Huge swinging serve from Konta has Kuzmova running right, before Konta slams the ball into the wide-open left of the court.

She outwits Kuzmova again and has two match points.

Ian Robbins: Jo’s played some brilliant stuff in this first week, great to see her right back at her best.

  13. Post update

    Konta* 6-2 5-1 Kuzmova

Kuzmova doesn't want to leave yet. She comes to the net and puts in a cross-court forehand winner. 0-15.

But the Slovakian's return goes long on the next point. 15-15.

  14. Post update

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

Johanna Konta is one game away from making history!

  15. Konta breaks

    Konta* 6-2 5-1 Kuzmova

Kuzmova isn't losing control completely. She hits a couple of forehand winners, but so does Konta. 30-30.

The Brit comes to the net, then gets back for a lob and her backhand is too much for Kuzmova. Break point.

A lovely drop shot from Konta and she's done it! One game from victory.

  16. Tsitsipas wins first set

Greek sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas has clinched the first set after he broke Serbian world number 60 Filip Krajinovic late on.

Stan Wawrinka and Grigor Dimitrov are in a tense tie-break.

  17. Post update

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

I mean, wow, this is a fantastic performance from Konta. It's not her favourite surface, she's up against a tricky opponent but she looks like she can do this all day.

  18. Post update

    Konta 6-2 4-1 Kuzmova*

A reminder that Konta is bidding to become the first British woman since Jo Durie in 1983 to make it to the fourth round of the French Open.

She doesn't seem to be struggling too much with that pressure though...

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

Konta is looking like this is just another match and she will keep going and move onto the next one. We know she can get herself on a bit of a roll.

  20. Post update

    Courtney Nguyen

    WTA reporter at Roland Garros

    Konta

What is so impressive from Konta today is that she keeps finding winners, not just winners, but ones that Kuzmova isn't even seeing.
