Today at Wimbledon is on BBC Two as we speak.

We'll be back from 10:30 BST tomorrow, when Jo Konta, Kyle Edmund and Rafa Nadal are all in action.

    Until then!

  2. 'Bedene kept his nerve'

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 Norrie

    John Lloyd

    Former GB Davis Cup captain

That was impressive from Bedene. The serve and the forehand were the two winners. I haven't seen him serve as well as that. He kept his nerve throughout.

He looked like a winner on court. He still looked calm even when he went a set down, stuck to his game plan. He was the more aggressive of the two and deserved the win.

  3. Game, set and match - Bedene

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 Norrie

    That'll be that!

A handshake at the net as Aljaz Bedene celebrates his victory. He's through to the second round in two hours 49 minutes.

  4. Post update

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-4 Norrie

Crack. A big ol' ace gets Aljaz Bedene under way.

Another one comes whizzing Cameron Norrie's way, and Bedene has three match points.

  5. Norrie holds; Bedene to serve for match

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-4 Norrie

A serve straight down the T from Cameron Norrie, and a sprawling Aljaz Bedene hoicks his return long.

In fact, this is terrific from Norrie, strong on both the first and second serves. He holds to love, and Bedene will have to try and serve this one out.

  6. 'Bedene in great shape'

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-3 Norrie*

    John Lloyd

    Former GB Davis Cup captain

Bedene doesn't even look tired. He's in great shape, like he can play for ever.

When you look across the net, you should feel they can't beat you on fitness. That is in your hands and no one else's.

  7. Bedene holds

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-3 Norrie*

The line judge wanders over for a word with the umpire, although we're not privy to the conversation.

Cameron Norrie lashes a wild forehand out of bounds to help Bedene to a 40-15 lead, although a little nibble from the net allows Norrie to dart forward and crack a winner cross-court.

Long goes the Norrie backhand, though, and Bedene is a game away from victory.

  8. Post update

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 4-3 Norrie

An excellent response from Cameron Norrie.

He gets himself to 40-0 before double faulting, but a furious, irritated swat of a forehand ensures he holds.

  9. Bedene holds

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 4-2 Norrie*

Plenty of attempts from Cam Norrie's team - including Davis Cup captain Leon Smith - to gee their man up.

Bedene rather spoils that with a nifty love hold.

  10. Bedene breaks

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 3-2 Norrie

There is the break for Aljaz Bedene!

He dances forward and wallops a forehand that a despairing Norrie nets.

  11. Post update

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 2-2 Norrie*

Now then. Break point for Aljaz Bedene, as Cameron Norrie gets his feet stuck behind the baseline.

  12. Post update

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 2-2 Norrie*

Into the net goes Bedene's backhand, and Norrie has a chance to close things out.

A loopy forehand from Norrie takes proceedings back to deuce, though.

  13. Post update

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 2-2 Norrie*

Long on the forehand from Aljaz Bedene, and Cameron Norrie helps himself to a 40-15 lead.

Ooft, a bobble off the net goes against Norrie, giving Bedene a glimmer of hope, and then a terrific forehand into the corner of the court takes us to deuce.

  14. Post update

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 2-2 Norrie*

And an easy hold for Aljaz Bedene, too, keeps things ticking along.

  15. Post update

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 1-2 Norrie*

Cam Norrie times his move to the net nicely for a smash winner.

The Brit holds to love with ease.

Chris: It's day one of Wimbledon 2018 and there is so much late night drama! Love it.

  17. Bedene holds

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 1-1 Norrie*

Bedene pushes his forehand out wide, and a stretched Norrie can't get his return to clear the net.

Advantage Bedene, and he holds after a mini-rally.

  18. Bedene saves two break points

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 0-1 Norrie*

Terrific first serve from Aljaz Bedene.

We're at deuce. Norrie chunters furiously to himself.

  19. Post update

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 0-1 Norrie

Aljaz Bedene darts across the court to pick up a short ball from Cam Norrie and hit a winner.

One break point saved, another to go.

  20. 'Disrupt his service rhythm'

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 0-1 Norrie

    John Lloyd

    Former GB Davis Cup captain

I think if someone is in a good serving rhythm like Bedene is, the opponent should change where they stand, to change the mindset, just do something different.
