  1. Goodbye!

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 7-6 (7-4) Murray/Inglot

Great Britain will need to win both singles rubbers tomorrow to win this Davis Cup tie.

As it stands, Cameron Norrie and Liam Broady will play Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Roberto Bautista Agut respectively, but that could change.

All eyes for Britain will be on Kyle Edmund, and if he's had enough time to recover from that hip niggle.

We'll be back from 10:00 GMT tomorrow to bring you all the action from Marbella. The report from today's rubber is here - have a read of that, and we'll see you back here tomorrow!

  2. Post update

    John Lloyd

Former GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Two

I thought we were slight favourites going in going up against a scratch pairing but unfortunately Dom Inglot didn't play very well by his standards.

  3. Post update

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 7-6 (7-4) Murray/Inglot

That was Carreno Busta and Lopez's first time playing together - not a bad showing!

It means Britain have to win both singles matches tomorrow. Based on that showing, it'd be a surprise not to see Pablo Carreno Busta playing in that first rubber on Sunday.

  4. Game, set and match - Spain

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 7-6 (7-4) Murray/Inglot

That'll do it for Spain, though!

A nurdle of a forehand beats the British duo, and Pablo Carreno Busta and Feliciano Lopez roar in delight.

They have a 2-1 lead in this Davis Cup tie.

  5. Tie-break

    *Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (6-4) Murray/Inglot

Good return from Inglot, and it allows Murray to get into position and volley the winner.

GB are down but still not out.

  6. Tie-break

    *Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (6-3) Murray/Inglot

A handy time to whack down an ace.

Three match points to Spain still...

  7. Tie-break

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (6-2) Murray/Inglot*

Inglot has the sun in his eyes as he tosses the ball up - and Carreno Busta makes another thunderous cross-court backhand!

    Four match points to Spain...

  8. Tie-break

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (5-2) Murray/Inglot*

Serve pushed out wide by the excellent Feliciano Lopez and Dom Inglot, hanging back, can't do anything more than send his backhand into the net.

A change of ends, a chat from the captain, and Britain snaffle a point thanks to Inglot's quick hands.

  9. Tie-break

    *Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (4-1) Murray/Inglot

Jamie Murray lunges for a volley, but it makes no difference as Feliciano Lopez blasts a backhand through him.

Murray goes for another volley at his toes but he can't make it - into the net goes the ball.

  10. Tie-break

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (2-1) Murray/Inglot*

A mini-rally, closed out by a stunning, spinning winner down the line from Carreno Busta at the back of court.

That's a mis-step, though, as Carreno Busta misses the simplest of forehands.

  11. Tie-break

    *Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 (1-0) Murray/Inglot

That's a lucky return from Carreno Busta - it's landed just in the corner of the court!

    First point goes Spain's way.

  12. Tie-break

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 Murray/Inglot

Right then. The Brits will serve first in the tie-break.

  13. Spain hold for third set tie-break

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 6-6 Murray/Inglot*

That's a handy little overhead from Jamie Murray, and it sets up the point for Britain as he eventually moves forward to deliver the fatal volley.

Carreno Busta had got tight but he recovers enough to get Spain to a hold.

Good hold, courtesy of Carreno Busta choking big time on those two returns.

  15. GB under pressure - but hold

    *Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 5-6 Murray/Inglot

Quick hands and a battered forehand from Dom Inglot gives Britain the advantage.

And GB hold! A backhand is spun into the net by Carreno Busta.

  16. Post update

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 5-5 Murray/Inglot*

A bit of a shake on serve from Jamie Murray - the second just skimming the net - but he's handed a reprieve as Carreno Busta wallops a forehand long.

    His captain ain't impressed.

  17. Break point for Spain

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 5-5 Murray/Inglot*

A half-volley form Jamie Murray looks to have won the point, but Pablo Carreno Busta shimmies back and angles a gorgeous forehand winner onto the tramlines.

  18. Post update

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 5-5 Murray/Inglot*

    Inglot saves with a smash!

    Deuce #2.

  19. Post update

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 5-5 Murray/Inglot*

    What a return that is!

Down the line from Feliciano Lopez this time, and he twirls his racquet with aplomb to nail the shot.

    Break point, Spain.

  20. Deuce on GB serve

    Carreno Busta/Lopez 6-4 6-4 5-5 Murray/Inglot*

Good work from Inglot gets Britain ahead but the net cord goes against them at the worst possible time!

    Deuce.
