Leicester made heavy weather of it, but finally shut the door on the Scarlets.

Manu Tuilagi and Jonathan Davies - British Lions both - share a chat after the final whistle.

  2. Post update

    Leicester 45-27 Scarlets

Scarlets are still pressing for a four-try bonus.

Steff Evans butchers a four-man overlap though...

  3. Penalty - Leicester 45-27 Scarlets

    George Ford

The scoreboard keeps clicking north as the stopwatch runs down in the opposite direction.

  4. Post update

    Leicester 42-27 Scarlets

Scarlets are still fighting, running the ball from deep, hunting a possible two bonus points to salvage from tonight.

    No!

    Another penalty given away.

And George Ford is going to try and pile on the pain and waste a few more seconds with a shot at goal.

  5. Try - Leicester 42-27 Scarlets

    Jonny May (con Halfpenny)

    And that is surely that.

Leicester wrap up the win to go with the four-try bonus point as Jonny May skips in out wide after the Scarlets defence had been sucked in by a forward rumble.

    George Ford adds the conversion.

  6. Replacements

    Leicester 35-27 Scarlets

    Changes.

Leicester replace Ben Youngs and Tatafu Polata-Nau with Jake Kerr and Sam Harrison.

Scarlets replace Blade Thompson with Uzair Cassiem.

  7. Penalty - Leicester 35-27 Scarlets

    George Ford

Leicester edge further ahead. But they have led by 10 and 12 points respectively in the first and second halves and been pegged back on each occasion.

Can they make this one stick?

  8. No try

    Leicester 32-27 Scarlets

No clear sighting of the grounding.

We are coming back for a penalty against the Scarlets.

George Ford is going to slot it to put the Tigers more than a converted score ahead once more...

  9. Try review

    Leicester 32-27 Scarlets

Jonah Holmes is over the Scarlets line, but has Jonathan Davies managed to get some limb underneath the ball?

The referee has sent it up to the video gods...

  10. Converted try - Leicester 32-27 Scarlets

    Manu Tuilagi (con Ford)

Leicester are straight back down the other end with route-one power rugby.

First-out runners at pace and recycling faster than a washing machine spin setting.

Manu Tuilagi is the final one and what a runner to have. He pinballs through three defenders to score from five metres out.

    George Ford with the conversion.

    What a match.

  11. Converted try - Leicester 25-27 Scarlets

    Blade Thompson (con Halfpenny)

    Oh my.

An absolute eyesore of a kick from Ben Youngs, just chopped tamely into the air with no chase organised.

This is the sort of broken field that Gareth Davies lives for.

The Scarlets scrum-half spots a mis-matched prop, darts past him and feeds inside for Blade Thompson to slide in.

Simple conversion that Leigh Halfpenny almost messes up via an ugly slip.

But it is over and Scarlets lead for the first time in the match.

  12. Post update

    Leicester 25-20 Scarlets

Jonah Holmes has done very well there, fighting for every inch as he runs back a monster kick downfield from Scarlets...

  13. Replacement

A first switch for Scarlets with wing Ioan Nicholas giving way to Paul Asquith.

  14. Try - Leicester 25-20 Scarlets

    Steff Evans (con Halfpenny)

There is more than one way to skin the try-scoring cat.

While Leicester deployed the blunderbus from five metres out, Scarlets show a little more guile to get the job done.

Steff Evans drops into scrum-half with Gareth Davies going to first receiver. A pass out to Davies, a pass back inside to Evans and the wing darts past Greg Bateman to go over.

    Leigh Halfpenny adds the extras.

  15. Post update

    Leicester 25-13 Scarlets

Scarlets asking some questions now with Dave Bulbring rumbling up to within 10 metres.

  16. Post update

    Leicester 25-13 Scarlets

Leicester went 10 points clear early in the first half.

Can they do a better job of building on this lead?

  17. Converted try - Leicester 25-13 Scarlets

    Sione Kalafamoni (con Ford)

Big heavy-duty ball carrying from Manu Tuilagi and Will Spencer leaves the Scarlets defence with more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese.

One more phases is all it takes with number eight Sione Kalafamoni bullocking through Dan Jones and ploughing over the line.

Two more from George Ford and there is some clear water between the teams.

  18. Post update

    Leicester 18-13 Scarlets

Referee Romain Poite calls for Scarlets captain Ken Owens and front-row colleage Wyn Jones.

Jones is nose-diving south too often at scrum time under heavy pressure from Dan Cole.

Any more of that and it will be yellow.

As it is George Ford kicks into the corner and the away defence is going to come under serious pressure...

  19. Penalty - Leicester 18-13 Scarlets

    George Ford

George Ford ignores a well-watered shouter in the stands to slot and push the lead back out to five.
