  3. Post update

    FT: Exeter 35-35 Wasps

Wasps' three points mean they are now five points above leaders Saracens and looking very good going into the final run in.

Could we see these two meet again at Twickenham in May?

  4. Exeter reaction

    FT: Exeter 35-35 Wasps

    Exeter v Wasps

Exeter number eight Sam Simmonds told BT Sport: "It's frustrating. In patches we performed really well.

"It's a shame we couldn't get a win in the end but a draw against a strong Wasps side, we'll take that.

"We knew we were fit enough to play with a man down and a proud game for all of us."

  5. Full-time

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

10 tries. Two yellow cards. One red. Three points each.

That, quite simply, was a brilliant game of rugby.

Wasps still haven't won at Sandy Park but three points on the road will be welcomed by the Premiership leaders.

Exeter found an extra gear after the Jonny Hill red card and will also be satisfied with their work - they move up to third above Bath.

  6. Post update

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

Danny Cipriani is tackled man and ball and as it comes loose, Henry Slade hacks up the pitch!

Kurtley Beale doesn't brilliantly to get back and throw it out of the tackle and Wasps have possession again...

  7. Post update

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

Wasps in possession in the closing stages.

Do they have one moment of brilliance left? Can Exeter hold onto three vital points with another defensive shift?

  8. Post update

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

Mistake by Stuart Townsend as the replacement Exeter scrum-half slices across an attempted territorial kick and it goes straight out.

Line-out to Wasps just inside their own half.

  9. Post update

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

A couple of reset scrums takes seconds out of the clock until a free-kick is awarded to the Chiefs.

Gareth Steenson sends a huge deep kick into Wasps' territory and the some kicking tennis begins.

  10. Post update

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

Just when the Wasps back line look like their offloading andskill will get them through again, Thomas Young knocks on trying to throw the ball out of a tackle.

A relieving scrum for the tiring Chiefs.

  11. Post update

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

Exeter with ball in hand and mainly keeping things tight.

A reminder, if things stay like this that both teams will end up with three points - two for drawing and one for scoring a try bonus point.

  12. Try (Joe Simpson, con Jimmy Gopperth)

    Exeter 35-35 Wasps

    Exeter v Wasps

On 59 minutes I said Wasps can strike from anywhere - they've just done from their own 22.

Danny Cipriani's burst of pace sets it up, Wasps work it through simple hands to Joe Simpson and a couple of half tackles stop his momentum but he has too much strength and gets the 10th try of the game.

    That's ten (10) tries.

Jimmy Gopperth levels is up for a juicy last 10 minutes. Don't go anywhere.

  13. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

    Exeter v Wasps

An astonishing defensive shift from Exeter.

19 waves of attack came from Wasps but the swarming black shirts do just enough to keep them out and win a turnover.

That was leg-sapping, lung-bursting stuff from the Chiefs but they'll probably need some more of that over the next 12 minutes.

  14. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

Wasps have themselves a penalty for 40 metres out, dead centre, which would normally be kickable.

But against this wind the men in white shirts go to the corner and look for the levelling score try.

  15. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

Exeter head coach Rob Baxter is perhaps showing where their game will be going as he has kept a full compliment of forwards on despite Jonny Hill's red card.

At the moment it is working as they've enjoyed lots of territory in the Wasps half.

  16. 'He looks distraught'

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

    John Lockyer

Former Exeter Chiefs captain on BBC Radio Devon

    Exeter v Wasps

Jonny Hill certainly not that sort of player, he's not a dirty player.

He looks absolutely distraught - his arm did make contact though, and the Exeter bench will have an awful lot of work to do now to get organised.

  17. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

But seriously, this is really set up nicely.

Exeter might have one less man but they're running through phase after phase and using this strong wind behind them to kick when needed.

Wasps, with their expensively assembled, and high quality back line, can strike from anywhere if given the chance.

  18. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

It's been a whole nine minutes without a try... come on lads, sort it out.

  19. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

    Exeter celebrate

No team is in better form in the league at the moment than Exeter over the past six games.

Rob Baxter's mean have take 25 points over than period or just over four points a match.

At the moment, they're up for another five points despite being down a man.

  20. Post update

    Exeter 35-28 Wasps

A ironic raw from the Exeter fans will tell you their glee at a mistake by Wasps.

Inches from the line they knock the ball on through Alex Rieder to stop them almost immediately responding.
