  1. Until next time!

From early tries to tense finales, Sunday's Premiership rugby certainly delivered plenty of drama.

If you asked Eddie Jones what he thought then he may say that it was the perfect follow on episode to yesterday's Eastenders-esque action at Twickenham Stadium!

We'll be back on Friday with all of the live coverage from Round 10 and it starts with Sale Sharks hosting Exeter Chiefs at the AJ Bell Stadium. It's not to be missed but until then have a great week!

  2. As It Stands

After Round 9 Harlequins' victory moves them up into sixth with Wasps leap-frogging Bath up to second.

At the other end Bristol still remain at the foot of the table and are six points adrift from Worcester Warriors.

Finally three points separate Gloucester in tenth with Northampton Saints in seventh.

  3. Summary of the day

Time for a little reminder today's Round 9 results from across the country.

    • Saracens 24-20 Gloucester
    • Wasps 34-24 Sale
    • Harlequins 21-20 Bath

Saracens were pushed all the way by a Gloucester side that actually led 17-15 at the break while Wasps' victory over Sale was slightly easier. As we've just seen it went down to the wire at The Twickenham Stoop with little to choose between Harlequins and Bath on the scoreboard.

  4. Post update

    FT: Saracens 24-20 Gloucester

Sarries captain Brad Barritt has sent his well-wishes to a young player who was injured during the half-time entertainment at Allianz Park.

The youngster was taken away in an ambulance - delaying the second half by about 10 minutes.

We have no update on the extent of his injuries at the moment.

  5. Swiel's delight

    FT: Harlequins 21-20 Bath

After coming on early in the match for Nick Evans, Harlequins fly-half Tim Swiel had a big influence on the outcome and he spoke to BT Sport after the match about his relief at closing out a tight encounter:

"We’ve been so successful at home and the home crowd came out and the boys came through.

"I did a little reckless kick away there but luckily we stuck at it and got the win in the end.

"Obviously we have won all of our games at home this year but we’ve got to change that inconsistency away from home."

    Tim Swiel
  6. Full-time

    Harlequins 21-20 Bath

It's a vital final turnover and that's that! Harlequins take the victory by the narrowest of margins.

  7. Post update

    Harlequins 21-20 Bath

Harlequins decide not to kick the ball off the park and Bath have a penalty with 10 seconds on the clock. Matt Banahan puts the ball downfield and Bath have one final line-out and one final shot at taking this match.

  8. Post update

    Harlequins 21-20 Bath

Matt Banahan charges through the middle of the park and collides with Jack Clifford. After that Dave Ward makes a crucial steal and Harlequins clear their lines with less than a minute left in the match.

  9. Post update

    Harlequins 21-20 Bath

We're going through a series of reset scrums at the moment before Bath get the ball out well and they're on the front foot about 20m out. Do they have what it takes to clinch this match?

  10. Post update

    Harlequins 21-20 Bath

Will Homer puts in the box kick and it pressures Harlequins into making a knock on. The scrum is inside a kickable range so there's a big onus on the hosts' pack to deliver cleanly.

  11. Penalty (Swiel)

    Harlequins 21-20 Bath

Tim Swiel uses the wind to his advantage and we've another twist in this match as Harlequins are back in front.

Six minutes to play and this one is far from over!

    Tim Swiel
  12. Post update

    Harlequins 18-20 Bath

Bath's Ben Tapuai has been threatening all day long and he makes a break through the middle of some tired defenders. He can't quite get the clean offload away but it's highly promising from the centre.

  13. Post update

    Harlequins 18-20 Bath

Harlequins know that they need to score next and Harlequins have a scrum in the middle of the park to work from. They look to power through but Bath gain the turnover and need to be sensible with their possession.

  14. Try (Catt)

    Harlequins 18-20 Bath

Bath's forwards take charge of proceedings and after a number of drives at close range Nathan Catt gets himself over. We have a short TMO review but referee Dean Richards is happy and Tom Homer adds the conversion off the post!

  15. Post update

    Harlequins 18-13 Bath

Harlequins are just struggling with their discipline right now as they compound their error with another.

Matt Banahan makes great ground with the kick and Bath set up the drive off the lineout.

  16. Post update

    Harlequins 18-13 Bath

Time for a spot of kick tennis as both sides are looking force the other into an area in a prime part of the field.

No errors as yet as Matt Banahan, newly onto the field, charges forwards but we're heading to the TMO for a no arms tackle on the winger. Penalty to Bath.

  17. Try (Dickson, con Swiel)

    Harlequins 18-13 Bath

    Karl Dickson

Marland Yarde creates the space with a break forwards on the right-hand wing before interchanging with James Chisholm and then Karl Dickson flies over from close range tofinish the score.

Tim Swiel adds the extras and Harlequins finally have some points on the board in this second forty.

  18. Post update

    Harlequins 11-13 Bath

This game is starting to open up a little bit, first Semesa Rokoduguni spots the space in the middle and goes full tilt at it with a clever chip and collect but he just knocks on.

Next Marland Yarde tries to do the same before we calm down for a scrum and the Bath pack are penalised.

    Marland Yarde
  19. Post update

    Harlequins 11-13 Bath

Since he has come on Tim Swiel has really been making Harlequins' attack click but he's one step ahead of Will Collier who can't hold onto the pop pass. This time it's Harlequins who miss out on a key opportunity and Bath set up the scrummage.

  20. Post update

    Harlequins 11-13 Bath

Harlequins have been dominating the possession with Bath on the back foot but it's dogged defence from Bath and Guy Mercer makes a fantastic turnover at the ruck.

However Dan Bowden's kick into touch doesn't have as much distance as they'd like and then Darren Allinson kicks out on the full. Opportunity lost.
