  1. Good evening

Thank you all for joining us this afternoon and across the weekend for round four of the Premiership.

That's it from us but we'll be back next weekend starting with a double header on Friday night.

    See you then!

  2. 'I think we can get better'

    FT: Leicester 34-14 Bath

    Richard Cockerill

Leicester director of rugby Richard Cockerill on BT Sport:

"It was a proper game of rugby. We brought attacking flair, angst in defence and good physicality. That was the real Leicester Tigers today.

"We didn't let Bath get into their rhythm and we looked after the ball well.

"We seem to find a way of letting sides back into the game but credit to the boys. We never looked like losing the game."

  3. 'We're in a perfect position'

    FT: Leicester 34-14 Bath

    Todd Blackadder

Bath director of rugby Todd Blackadder speaking on BT Sport:

"Leicester were great today and deserved the win. They put a lot of pressure on our breakdown and we probably didn't have enough options.

"George Ford is a fighter and did everything he could but he probably didn't have enough options to play out of those difficult positions.

"The effort was there but the skill and execution wasn't quite right. Our breakdown work especially in the last 20 minutes wasn't good enough to win the game.

"We're in a perfect position. We have a young exciting team and we're growing."

  4. Round Four

    FT: Leicester 34-14 Bath

So Leicester's convincing victory brings an end to round four in the Premiership.

Here are the weekend's other scores in case you missed them:

    Worcester 34-34 Sale Sharks

    Northampton 15-20 Wasps

    Harlequins 17-10 Saracens

    Gloucester 13-18 Newcastle

    Bristol 17-41 Exeter

Stay with us as we bring you all the reaction from Richard Cockerill and Todd Blackadder.

  5. Full-time

    Leicester 34-14 Bath

    Leicester celebrate

Richard Cockerill will be extremely happy with that performance by Leicester as they inflict a first defeat of the season on Bath.

The men from the South West looked out of sorts today and they suffer their biggest Premiership defeat since December 2012.

Having started the weekend in first place, they fall to third in the table.

Leicester finish where they started in fourth place.

  6. Try (Slater, con Burns)

    Leicester 34-14 Bath

    Ed Slater

Leicester with a string of penalties and there's no shot at goal as they muscle their way over through Ed Slater.

Freddie Burns, with a quick drop-kick, adds the extras and the players sprint back to the halfway line.

Leicester want a fourth try before the afternoon's over.

  7. Post update

    Leicester 27-14 Bath

Freddie Burns has certainly made an impact and he's showing no signs of illness here.

Another superb kick keeps Bath in their own 22, not where they need to be playing their rugby.

And Tigers win the penalty as Bath are pulled for not releasing.

  8. Post update

    Leicester 27-14 Bath

    Anthony Watson

Leicester can't afford to let Bath settle here.

There may only be eight minutes left but they look up for the challenge.

But just as Bath look to launch their attack, Leicester turn it over on halfway and Freddie Burns fires a great kick to pin Bath right back in their own half.

  9. Post update

    Leicester 27-14 Bath

Leicester have a 13-point cushion but this will be a test for them.

With 10 minutes to go Freddie Burns comes on to the field to take over at 10 having felt unwell after a knock last week.

And bath have turnover ball as Tigers knock on in midfield.

  10. Try (Dunn, con Ford)

    Leicester 27-14 Bath

Out of nowhere Bath have a glimmer of hope.

They secure easy ball from the line-out and Tom Dunn powers over the line for his first Premiership try.

And, after a rocky afternoon, George Ford slots a difficult touchline kick right through the middle.

Bath have given themselves a chance here...

  11. Post update

    Leicester 27-7 Bath

    Mike Williams

Leicester's pressure is telling once again as they force Bath into a sloppy handling error.

Matt Banahan knocks on this time and, after 65 minutes, Leicester have their first scrum of the game.

You won't believe me I know.

  12. Post update

    Leicester 27-7 Bath

We're with the TMO at the moment.

Anthony Watson with a dramatic dive for the line, which he duly dropped, and we're checking on the restart.

The referee though has overuled the TMO and it's a 22 metre dropout.

  13. Penalty (Williams)

    Leicester 27-7 Bath

    Owen Williams

George Ford is not enjoying the best of afternoons in front of the England boss Eddie Jones.

He throws a wild pass and Leicester are all over it, winning the penalty for their efforts.

It's a 20-point game now and Bath don't seem to have an answer.

  14. Penalty (Williams)

    Leicester 24-7 Bath

But 60 seconds after missing, he makes sure of this one and Leicester do have their three points.

The lead is out to 17, Bath will have to come up with something special here.

    20 minutes to go...

  15. Missed penalty (Williams)

    Leicester 21-7 Bath

    Owen Williams

It's not been the finest kicking display from either sides this afternooon and Owen Williams misses another from the tee.

  16. Post update

    Leicester 21-7 Bath

The pace of the game has slowed here as Leicester put in a mighty shove at the scrum and win the penalty.

And it draws the biggest cheer of the day from the crowd, they do like their forwards at Welford Road.

  17. Post update

    Leicester 21-7 Bath

    Eddie Jones

Eddie Jones is with us this afternoon at Welford Road, but I imagine George Ford will be hoping he had his back turned for that one.

Bath are back on the attack though, as they secure the line-out deep inside their own half.

Dan Cole gives away a blatant penalty right in front of the referee and this could be a chance for Bath to get something going.

  18. Missed penalty (Ford)

    Leicester 21-7 Bath

    Oh dear.

Marcos Ayerza is penalised for not rolling away, but George Ford strikes an easy kick against the post.

It doesn't look like it's going to be Bath's afternoon...

  19. Post update

    Leicester 21-7 Bath

So the start of the second half is a carbon copy of the first.

Bath have spent far more time defending than attacking in this game, and they need to explore more options if they're going to break down this Leicester defence.

Dave Atwood brings them up to the 22 as they enter their ninth phase.
