  4. Match reaction

    FT: Worcester 23-23 Gloucester

More reaction from Worcester's draw with Gloucester...

Warriors head coach Carl Hogg told BT Sport:

"I'm disappointed with the outcome - we weathered the storm for the first 20 minutes and I think the red card changed the game.

"I think we showed a huge amount of spirit and togetherness, but we've got to challenge ourselves to get technically better and improve our accuracy in parts of the game."

  5. Full-time

    Sale 19-10 Harlequins

Sale hold out after a spell of late pressure from Harlequins, who are unable to get a losing bonus point.

A first win of the season for Sale, while it's a first defeat for Quins.

  6. Post update

    Sale 19-10 Harlequins

    Steve Diamond

Some nailbiting by Steve Diamond, but the job is almost done for Sale.

They have a man advantage following Mat Luamanu's red card, but worryingly they've lost TJ Ioane and Josh Beaumont to head injuries in this match.

Thankfully, Ioane is reported to be doing fine after his second-minute exit on a stretcher.

  7. Red card

    Sale 19-10 Harlequins

Another red card! This time at the AJ Bell Stadium, and it's Harlequins replacement Mat Luamanu who has been sent off for a no-arms tackle on Josh Beaumont with nine minutes left to play.

Sale will be without captain Beaumont for a while - he's heading off the field too for a concussion check.

  9. Post update

    Sale 19-10 Harlequins

    Danny Care and Mike Phillips

Here's the moment when two experienced international scrum-halves - Mike Phillips and Danny Care - were involved in a small disagreement.

There were handshakes afterwards, though, from the Sale and Harlequins number nines.

    About 12 minutes to play.

  10. Match reaction

    FT: Worcester 23-23 Gloucester

Gloucester captain Greig Laidlaw, who scored 13 points with his boot tonight, told BT Sport:

"I think last year we would’ve lost this game, so that’s one positive we’ll take out of it.

"There was probably a lack of concentration, but I’m really delighted that we came back tonight.

"We’d have liked to have won the game but we’ve clawed our way back into it and got a draw."

    Greig Laidlaw
  11. Penalty (Mugford)

    Sale 19-10 Harlequins

    Dan Mugford

Dan Mugford does the business again with the boot for Sale. It's 19-10 to the home side with 20 minutes to go.

  12. Post update

    Sale 16-10 Harlequins

Harlequins now down to 13 players as prop Kyle Sinckler is shown a yellow card at the ruck.

    A punch-up ensues. Tensions rising.

  13. Penalty (Evans)

    Sale 16-10 Harlequins

Harlequins, still down to 14 men, have got three points back with a long-distance Nick Evans penalty.

  14. Full-time

    Worcester 23-23 Gloucester

That was some absolutely massive defending at the death by the Warriors.

Gloucester, with their man advantage, were all over the hosts in search of what would've been an undeserved victory, but roared on by the home crowd at Sixways they held firm, won the penalty, booted the ball out of play and come away with a share of the spoils.

  15. Try (Seymour, con Mugford)

    Sale 16-7 Harlequins

Seconds after Harlequins prop Owen Jones was sent to the sin-bin for pulling down a maul, Sale go over for their first try of the evening.

David Seymour is the man to get it and Dan Mugford slots over a very testing kick, in windy conditions, from the touchline. The hosts in control.

  16. Post update

    Worcester 23-23 Gloucester

Let's take a deep breath and quickly take stock of things at Sixways.

Five minutes remaining, Warriors down to 14 men and the scores level.

This photo was taken before the match, but Carl Hogg probably looks this worried right now.

  17. Kick-off

    Sale 9-7 Harlequins

Away from the drama at Sixways, they're under way again at the AJ Bell Stadium.

BBC Radio Manchester's Nathan Middleton reports that Sale forward TJ Ioane, who was taken off on a stretcher after taking a strong hit in the first couple of minutes, is in a stable condition. Good news to hear.

  18. Try (Purdy, con Laidlaw)

    Worcester 23-23 Gloucester

    Henry Purdy

Gloucester haven't been good tonight by any means, but the extra man is really starting to count.

It's an expansive move from the visitors and Tom Marshall feeds Henry Purdy a gift - he simply falls to the floor and puts the ball down.

Greig Laidlaw kicks from the touchline and we're level. You've got to fancy the Cherry and Whites now, don't you?

  19. Penalty (Heathcote)

    Worcester 23-16 Gloucester

Gloucester, after their long-awaited first try, have two players caught offside and from the resulting penalty, Tom Heathcote does the business.

  20. Still to come

Plenty of action still left tonight, and remember that BBC Sport will have live text and radio commentary of round two's remaining four Premiership matches this weekend...

Saturday: Bath v Newcastle Falcons, Leicester Tigers v Wasps.

Sunday: Bristol v Northampton Saints, Exeter Chiefs v Saracens.

All games start at 15:00 BST.
