  1. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

Well, where will you be next Saturday?

I suggest you make time to watch this series decider. What a monumental two matches we've had so far.

We'll see you then - goodnight.

  2. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

The crowd helped you a lot?

By booing you off the pitch at half-time?

The Springboks players are certainly well-versed in good PR.

  3. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

South Africa captain Adriaan Strauss: "I wouldn't say I was worried. I'm really proud of every player. They showed a lot of character. Thank you to the supporters - you helped us a lot. We created opportunities and couldn't finish. We need that ruthless mindset."

  4. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

    What an awesome crowd?

They booed you out of Johannesburg at half-time.

  5. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

Ruan Combrinck, man of the match and try scorer on his South Africa debut: "I want to say thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ. He's kept me humble. It was a massive comeback from the boys. What an awesome crowd. We're much better than that first-half performance."

  6. 'We back ourselves'

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

Ireland captain Rory Best: "We put ourselves in a great position to win the game and the series. We'll look back on a lot of mistakes in the second half.

"We gave them momentum. For the first 60 minutes we were physical and kept goingg at them. To score straight after them showed mental resolve. It's one-all and we go to Port Elizabeth and we'll back ourselves to get the win."

  7. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

So, what do we make of Joe Schmidt's decision to make five changes (one forced, of course)?

Ireland were out on their feet after playing most of the game with 14 men last week, so perhaps fresh legs were needed. And maybe they'll have a sharper edge next week.

Steve Furminger: The South African bar next door has suddenly got a bit livelier

  9. Post update

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

That's 1-1 in the series. Port Elizabeth next. Can Ireland scrape themselves off the floor for that one?

  10. Full-time

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

The mind boggles at how South Africa have pulled this off.

They were lounging on their sofas for an hour of that game. But their power and force combined with a tiring Ireland defence somehow - SOMEHOW - got them over the line.

  11. Penalty (Jantjies)

    South Africa 32-26 Ireland

The clock ticks over 80 minutes. Elton Jantjies nails the penalty.

  12. Post update

    South Africa 29-26 Ireland

They try again. It's out and in Springbok hands. Ireland concede a penalty on halfway for not rolling away.

  13. Post update

    South Africa 29-26 Ireland

They're in no rush to get the scrum going. It collapses and we need a reset with the clock still ticking.

  14. Post update

    South Africa 29-26 Ireland

South Africa conceding a penalty would be helpful about now.

But it's South African ball as Ireland knock on.

  15. Try (De Allende, con Jantjies)

    South Africa 29-26 Ireland

Ireland are shattered. So, so shattered.

Damian de Allende should be stopped, but he bounces off a tired Conor Murray and has a simple finish in the end.

Elton Jantjies has suddenly found his kicking boots for the extras.

Rupert Loyd: Not sure if Chris or Ben is on duty but, whoever it is, this comeback is all your fault

It's Ben. Definitely Ben. Certainly not Chris.

    It's Chris. ed

  17. Post update

    South Africa 22-26 Ireland

This is horrible. How are your fingernails Ireland supporters?

Ireland line-out on halfway and South Africa nick it.

  18. Converted try (Du Toit, con Jantjies)

    South Africa 22-26 Ireland

    Stop breathing again.

A quick tap free-kick 10m out gets South Africa moving and Pieter-Steph du Toit looks like he's too far out - but he ploughs through and touches down under the posts, despite the interest of two defenders.

An easy conversion for Elton Jantjies.

  19. Post update

    South Africa 15-26 Ireland

This game, eh? It's a slobberknocker.

South Africa come again - wave after wave now.

Willie Le Roux grubbers a kick into the path of JP Pietersen but he can't gather and Ireland stick it out.

    Breathe Ireland fans.

  20. Try (Whiteley)

    South Africa 15-26 Ireland

Can't help but feel I talked this up.

Ireland defend resolutely but South Africa have found their gearbox and flicking through the numbers.

Ruan Combrinck is the man to make the metres down the right. It goes through the phases to the left and Warren Whiteley steps off the touchline with feet of a dancer and plants down.

    No conversion though.
