  1. Goodnight

    Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

Well, that's about it from us this evening. It's fair to say Harlequins fully deserved their win and will head to France at the climax of the regular Premiership season.

We'll be back with live text commentary of the all-English Champions Cup semi-final between Wasps and Saracens tomorrow.

Until then, goodbye and enjoy the rest of your evening.

  2. Harlequins into Challenge Cup final

    Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

    Jamie Roberts

So, Harlequins are into their fourth European Challenge Cup finals after beating French Top 14 side Grenoble.

Tries from Wales centre Jamie Roberts, Nick Evans and George Lowe eased the Premiership side to victory.

Conor O'Shea's side will head to Lyon to face either Montpellier or Newport Gwent Dragons on 13 May in what is likely to be his last game in charge before taking over as Italy head coach.

If you want to relive the action, take a read of Brendon Mitchell's match report.

  3. Post-match reaction

    Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

Harlequins and Wales centre Jamie Roberts told BT Sport:

"It was not a night for quick ball. We had to kick the ball quite a lot and we did that well 80% of the time.

"The weather took the width out of Grenoble's game and I think we adapted to the conditions better."

  4. Post-match reaction

    Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

Harlequins and Wales centre Jamie Roberts told BT Sport: "Being in the final sounds pretty cool.

"We ran at Grenoble from minute one and from 50 or 60 minutes you could see they were gone.

"We are still improving as a side and we hope to peak for the final."

  5. Full-time

    Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

The answer to that is emphatically no as Nick Evans takes no nonsense and boots the ball dead.

Harlequins are into the European Challenge Cup final.

  6. Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

The clock is red but Marland Yarde tries his luck with a chip and chase. Is there to be any late drama?

  7. Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

The ball is in touch, wide on the Harlequins left. Quins win their own ball but Jamie Roberts knocks on as he races on to Karl Dickson's bullet of a spin pass at pace.

  8. Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

You sense both sides know this game is done. The urgency has gone out of proceedings as Quins prepare to feed a scrum inside the Grenoble half.

  10. Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

Only eight minutes left at The Stoop. And there is little doubt that Harlequins will be bidding to win their fourth Challenge Cup in Lyon three weeks tonight.

    Harlequins
  11. Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

Joe Marler is the latest of Quins' big names to be taken out of the fray.

However, we may have to wait to see if there will be any follow-up to Arnaud Heguy's complaint about being kicked in the head by the England prop.

  12. Try (Lowe, con Evans)

    Harlequins 30-6 Grenoble

If it wasn't all over, it is now. Danny Care's vision creates the try as he clips a grubber kick through from a Quins scrum.

The ball hits the pad on the posts and George Lowe touches down.

  13. Harlequins 23-6 Grenoble

Grenoble have made more than double the tackles of their Harlequins counterparts. That shows how much Harlequins have dominated possession in this game.

They've been virtually camped in the French half since the restart too.

  14. Penalty (Evans)

    Harlequins 23-6 Grenoble

    Nick Evans

Nick Evans doesn't miss this time, though, after being gifted another opportunity to kick for goal from bang in front of the posts.

That could well be game, set and match.

  15. Missed penalty

    Harlequins 20-6 Grenoble

Not everything Nick Evans touches is going to turn to gold tonight.

The Harlequins scrum wins a penalty midway inside the Grenoble half. You would back Evans to bisect the posts from there but he scuffs it horribly and pulls it wide.

Well, being out for two months with a broken leg is a decent excuse, I suppose.

  16. Harlequins 20-6 Grenoble

    Nick Evans

TV replays have just shown Nick Evans high-fiving a boy behind the posts after scoring his try. You could see how much that try meant to him.

Meanwhile, Jack Clifford comes on in place of Nick Easter.

  17. Harlequins 20-6 Grenoble

    Line-out

Superb defence from George Lowe! Grenoble are as close to the Harlequins line as they have been all night but Lowe holds firm and also does enough in the tackle to earn his side a penalty for not releasing.

That could be a big moment.

  18. Harlequins 20-6 Grenoble

Grenoble are into the Harlequins 22 for the first time in the second half as Jonathan Wisniewski opts to kick a penalty to the corner rather than go for the posts. With a 14-point deficit, you can't blame him.

You sense they need a try quickly if they want to get back into this.

  19. Harlequins 20-6 Grenoble

Just over a quarter of the game to go, and another change for Quins as former Wales and British and Irish Lions prop Adam Jones, with that famous mop of hair, departs the scene.

Kyle Sinckler is on in his place.

  20. Try (Evans, con Evans)

    Harlequins 20-6 Grenoble

    Nick Evans

Talk about fairytales! That is a dream return for Nick Evans.

Harlequins pound and pound at the Grenoble line, but as the French race forward to repel the attacks, Evans dinks a grubber kick through and dives on the loose ball before it runs into touch,

He adds the conversion too. Easy game, isn't it?
