Rugby league returns with the start of the new Super League season at the end of January.

    Until then.

    Jonathan Davies

Former Great Britain international on BBC Two

Their kicking game was so superior to ours, the kick was to compete and with a chance of winning the ball back. When James Graham went off there a lack of game management and discipline.

For me, international rugby is about selection and I am not sure Wayne Bennett got the selection right. He didn't change the half backs when we have been poor.

    Jon Wilkin

Ex-Great Britain forward on BBC Two

Once you scratch a few of those main names out there is a lack of depth to the Great Britain squad.

When you're in the performance industry, Wayne Bennett has put himself under some pressure.

    Robbie Hunter-Paul

Former New Zealand international on BBC Two

One of their mainstays was getting out from acting half, draining the energy out of the Great Britain team, which gave the half backs time to execute their kicks.

    FT: PNG 28-10 Great Britain

Let's be honest, Great Britain threw the towel in.

That is the last thing you expect from rugby league players at the top of the game.

    Brian Noble

Ex-Great Britain coach on BBC Two

Great Britain lost a little bit of enthusiasm - the effort is there, but they were out-muscled and outfought in the second half.

This is a wonderful win for PNG and for the international game.

The Papua New Guinea players and supporters rejoice on and off the field.

What a victory for their side and thoroughly deserved too.

No consolation try for PNG either, Elliott Whitehead penalised for a forward pass.

I don't think the GB brand is to blame, the tour has been disappointing full stop.

Some people have under-performed, some haven't - it just goes to show how tough international football is now.

If you have enthusiasm and energy you can pretty much compete with anybody.

You have to admire the fact it is Papua New Guinea's national sport and their love, so it is a massive lift for their game.

"The will has gone," says Dave Woods on commentary.

    Sad to see.

Alex Walmsley hangs his head. He won't be able to show his face in Batley ever again.

Ex-Great Britain coach on BBC Two

Great Britain got to 10-0 up and needed another score, we have seen it so many times when you are not in that comfort zone. This second half they have been bashed in and around the middle - with running, with smart kicks as well.
