  1. Fitting finale

After all the delays caused by the rain and an oil spill, the five races have been completed.

And what a climax! Glenn Irwin may be more used to the short circuit game, but what a battle that was with Alastair Seeley in the final Superbike event.

Seeley, the record holder for number of wins on 17 going into the week, will be more than happy to have added four more victories.

Thanks for following the racing with us. You can relive all the thrilling action on BBC1 Northern Ireland's highlights programmes. They are on Sunday (10.45pm) and Monday (10.40pm) and these will be available on the iPlayer.

Highlights of Thursday's racing are on the iPlayer now.

    Farewell from the North West.

  3. Winner's words

    Glenn Irwin's reaction

Quote Message: It is unbelievable. The reception from the crowd - I'm speechless. It just sums this wee country up. Big credit to Alastair, it was a really intense race. He's had 21 wins here and you have to respect him. We have had our differences in the past, but for Ian and him to race that close behind me. It's insane - it's the best sport in the world. The organisers have put on a great show. People cricitise, but you cannot do anything about the weather." from Glenn Irwin North West 200 Superbike winner

  4. Glenn Irwin wins a thriller

What a brilliant last lap on the last race of the day! At the end of it all it is 27-year-old Glenn Irwin who is lapping up the adulation of the fans. Alastair Seeley almost came off at one point and slipped down to third, but he fought back brilliantly to lead late in the race. But Ducati rider Irwin, fifth in British Superbikes, responded magnificently.

Seeley takes it well, saying: "Fair play to Glenn - he rode a blinder. He is very strong on the brakes. For us, it is another podium and it has been a great week."

Ian Hutchinson was third, followed by Michael Dunlop, Michael Rutter and Dean Harrison.

  5. Here comes Seeley

    NW200 Superbike race

Alastair Seeley is making up ground quickly, overtaking Ian Hutchinson to power into second place. Now he has fellow Carrickfergus man Glenn Irwin in his sights.

Hutchinson is in no mood to give up and battles back to have a ding-dong battle with Irwin for the lead. This is a tremendous race.

Top six order: Glenn Irwin, Ian Hutchinson, Alastair Seeley, Michael Rutter, Michael Dunlop, Peter Hickman.

  6. Go! Go! Go!

    Superbikes speed off the grid

Early race order: Glenn Irwin, Ian Hutchinson, Michael Rutter, Martin Jessopp, Alastair Seeley, Peter Hickman, Michael Dunlop.

  7. And finally

    NW200 Superbike race

The main event will bring the curtain down on the 2017 North West 200. It is the second Superbike race over seven laps of the 8.9-mile Triangle circuit.

Alastair Seeley must be favourite - and what an achievement five wins in the week would be for the 37-year-old Tyco BMW star.

  10. Seeley wins again

    Superstock race

The race has been halted and Seeley will be declared the winner as the race was more than three-quarters completed.

So record win number 21 for Carrickfergus rider Alastair Seeley, with team-mate Ian Hutchinson in second.

"They should have stopped it two laps ago - it was terrifying," said third-placed Michael Rutter.

Hutchinson agrees that an earlier stop should have been called.

"It's dangerous. We're riding very fast motorbikes at 200mph. They are ignoring us putting our hands up.

"It's not right to force riders to ride in conditions that aren't safe. I don't know why they are playing with our lives."

  11. Seeley leads again

    Superstock race

Two Tyco BMW riders are battling it out for the Superstock lead - Alastair Seeley heading his team-mate Ian Hutchinson.

Flags are out to warn riders about the conditions as it is raining and the course is getting pretty wet again. Some competitors appear to be easing up with one lap still top go.

  12. Go! Go! Go!

    Superstock race underway

Great start for Ian Hutchinson but a mistake a York costs him his early lead.

Race order at the roundabout: Alastair Seeley, Dean Harrison, Michael Rutter, Ian Hutchinson, Lee Johnston, Peter Hickman and Martin Jessopp.

  13. Sweetest feeling

    Supertwins race

KMR team onwer Ryan Farquhar says this victory is one of his best. Farquhar was seriously injured in a crash at last year's North West.

"After what I have been through, this is just a fairytale," said the Dungannon man.

  15. Superstock next

The Superstock machines are going to be next on the grid.

Alastair Seeley won this category on Thursday night and is back for more.

We've been warned the weather may deteriorate again. Certainly the wind is getting up.

  16. Third man

Michael Rutter now has 14 career wins at the North West, he's the third most successful man ever behind Alastair Seeley and the late Robert Dunlop.

The 45-year-old's last North West win was back in 2012 and his late deal to do the Twins on Ryan Farquhar's KMR Kawasaki pays off handsomely.
