More on Callum Hawkins' impressive victory against a world-class field in Glasgow.

He beat three-time Commonwealth Games champion Moses Kipsiro in the race, setting a new Scottish record, and becomes the first Scottish winner of the Great Scottish Run since Peter Fleming in 1983.

Hawkins' time of one hour 22 seconds is the second fastest British half marathon of all time, behind four-time Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah.

I give you the new Guiness World Record holders for the fastest half marathon in a super hero costume.

"It is the hardest thing ever. It was so warm, we started at a decent pace but we turned to each other saying it was way too hot!"

Batman: "We planned to run together but I had cramp at about eight kilometres so I told him to move on."

    Brendan Foster

With those split times for three miles, I think he's run a personal best for 5,000m.

That's unbelievable at this stage of a race.

Any athlete who can do something like that at this stage of a race is just incredible.
