Chequered flag

And that's a wrap for day two.

Valtteri Bottas finishes the day fastest with the 1:23.261 he set on super softs earlier.

Swift work by Sauber as they get Marcus Ericsson back out for the final two minutes after his earlier spin and the subsequent separation of his wheel.

Last minute action in the garage - compliments for the whole crew! Marcus is on track again #ME9

Kevin Magnussen is definitely done for the day, because there is a water leak on the Renault.

Elsewhere, there's been no major shift in the times. Sergio Perez has improved marginally but not enough to improve his place in eighth.

It looks like day two of testing will end with Valtteri Bottas top of the timesheet.

F1 journalist Dan Knutson: "I stood nearby when Pascal Wehrlein made a practice start in the Manor at the end of pit lane earlier today. When he wound the engine up to full rpm it was LOUD. My ears were ringing for a while afterwards. Of course, people can’t get this close during an actual race start, and so the sound gets dissipated before you hear it."

Is there time for another run? There always is. Except when there is no time. But today there is! #VamosCheco

Here's the aftermath of that Sauber spin a little earlier.

No more laps for Renault, meanwhile, they are done for the day and at the moment Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz are on the circuit.

Valtteri Bottas is also back out and has soft tyres on as Sergio Perez improves, clocking 1:26.036. He remains eighth fastest.

Only Bottas and Kevin Magnussen have given the super softs a go today. Anyone else for the final 25 minutes?

Race simulation done, Nico Rosberg is heading back out for the closing stages.

Sebastian Vettel is also out on the track.

Is that a Sauber?

Go! Go! Go!

The Sauber and its missing wheel have been recovered by the flatbed truck and taken back to the pits, so the track is open once again.

Forty minutes remaining.
