I don't remember City being criticised for De Bruyne although few would have predicted he'd have been just so essential. For Chelsea, I consider him to be one of a few players who wasn't given the chance to flop or succeed alongside Salah and Lukaku (the first time round) - we've been guilty of that far too often.

As a Manchester City fan I confess to a little chuckle every time I read Chelsea fans would love KDB back! After the way the pundits and fans slagged off OUR purchase of Kevin De Bruyne it warms my heart. You thought we were buying a pig in a poke and it turned out we bought the very, very best.
