Latest PostGood night
That's as far as we go in here on a night where early Championship pacesetters West Brom failed to win at home for the second time this week after being held to a 0-0 draw by Derby.
Bournemouth ended QPR's unbeaten start to the campaign thanks to a 2-1 win, and the Cherries have moved level on points with the Baggies at the top of the table.
Elsewhere, Reading beat Peterborough 3-1 to alleviate some of their early season woes.
We'll be back tomorrow with six more Championship games so join us then.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.
FULL-TIME
West Brom 0-0 Derby
Back-to-back home draws for West Brom.
They'll be left wondering how they didn't score in a game where they created a lot of clear cut chances but some wayward finishing and good goalkeeping from Kelle Roos means they are now joint top of the table with Bournemouth.
Same points, same goals scored, same conceded as the Cherries.
FULL-TIME
Reading 3-1 Peterborough
Reading register a first win in five games thanks to John Swift's free-kick and a double from Tom Dele-Bashiru.
Posh have now lost four in a row in a five-match run without a victory.
Both these clubs have conceded 17 goals in seven games.
Post update
West Borm 0-0 Derby
It just will not go in for West Brom tonight.
A deep ball is hung to the back post where Darnell Furlong flings himself at it but his header is straight at Kelle Roos in the Derby goal.
League One and Two results
In the end the spoils are shared in League One between Rotherham and Lincoln.
The Millers went ahead after 22 minutes through Michael Smith but were pegged back shortly before the hour mark when Lewis Fiorini struck.
In League Two Sutton held on to register a morale-boosting victory over Hartlepool thanks to Ben Goodliffe's first-half goal.
And Northampton safely negotiated a nervy 12 minutes of injury time to see out a slender 1-0 victory over Northampton.
GOAL: Reading 3-1 Peterborough
Tom Dele-Bashiru (88 mins)
Surely that's any hopes of a Posh comeback snuffed out.
Tom Dele-Bashiru nets with a stunning strike from 25 yards out, which goes flying into the top corner.
It might have taken a slight deflection off a defender, but the Reading forward won't care.
Post update
West Brom 0-0 Derby
This result is going to knock the Baggies down to second.
Can they find a late, late winner?
Post update
Reading 2-1 Peterborough
Posh striker Jonson Clarke-Harris heads a cross wide at the back post.
There's been plenty of late goals involving the visitors already this season. Will lightning strike again tonight?
Post update
Sheff Utd 2-2 Preston
Calvin Andrew
Ex-Rochdale, Mansfield and Port Vale forward on Squad Goals
"They can't get hold of the ball or get it clear and it's rifled in.
"The goalkeeper has run the length of the field to join the celebrations!
"That will feel like a win for them."
Emil Jakobsen's injury time goal has rescued a late point for Preston at the home of the Blades!
FULL-TIME
Sheff Utd 2-2 Preston
It looked like being back-to-back wins for the Blades but they just couldn't see it out and Emil Jakobsen's late, late leveller means the visitors stretch their unbeaten run to four.
Post update
Reading 2-1 Peterborough
Into the final 10 minutes in Berkshire.
Posh striker Jack Marriott has been forced off with injury, and Sammie Szmodics has come on.
GOAL: Sheff Utd 2-2 Preston
Emil Jakobsen (90+5 mins)
In the last minute!
The hosts don't deal with a deep free-kick into the area and it's crossed to the back post where Emil Jakobsen is in way too much space and he takes a touch on his chest and hammers a low finish in from six yards.
FULL-TIME
Bournemouth 2-1 QPR
Bournemouth survive some nervy moments late on to extend their unbeaten start and inflict a first league defeat on QPR.
The Cherries are into the top two.
First-half strikes from Jaidon Anthony and Dominic Solanke - on his 24th birthday - were enough for victory despite Sam McCallum grabbing one back.
Post update
West Brom 0-0 Derby
Great save from Derby goalkeeper Kelle Roos to deny Matty Phillips.
About 10 minutes to go now, can the Rams hang on for a battling point?
FULL-TIME
Blackpool 0-3 Huddersfield
Three second half goals for Huddersfield and they're taking three points back to West Yorkshire.
GOAL: Reading 2-1 Peterborough
Nathan Thompson (74 mins)
Posh have hope.
Joe Ward curls a free-kick to the back post and Nathan Thompson is there to hold off his man and head home.
Can Darren Ferguson's men avoid a fourth successive defeat?
FULL-TIME
Blackburn 2-0 Hull
Second-half goals from Daniel Ayala and Ben Brereton Diaz give Rovers their third win of the campaign.
Hull have now gone six league games without a goal - equalling an unwanted club record which had stood since December 1920.
The Tigers have not scored - or tasted victory - since the opening day.
It's a first clean sheet for Rovers in 17 games in all competitions, stretching back to mid-March.
Post update
Bournemouth 2-1 QPR
Rangers have four minutes of stoppage time to try and grab an equaliser.
Post update
Reading 2-0 Peterborough
Calvin Andrew
Ex-Rochdale, Mansfield and Port Vale forward on Squad Goals
“Absolute hammer foot by the way. Fantastic strike!”
The in-form John Swift's beautifully struck free-kick was a fine way for the Royals to take the lead.
League One and Two updates
Approaching the last 10 minutes in this evening's games in League One and Two.
Rotherham and Lincoln are currently locked at 1-1 and in League Two, Northampton still lead Newport and Sutton are ahead at Hartlepool.
