  1. Goodnight

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

That's it from me, thanks for your company this evening.

Brian Rice is delighted, Derek McInnes is disappointed, but Aberdeen are up to third and Hamilton are still three points adrift at the bottom of the Premiership.

See you for the League Cup this weekend.

  2. 'It's never a free-kick' - McInnes

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Sportsound: "We were very good first half, I thought we controlled the game and we deservedly went in front, but we spoke at half time that we didn't want to give Hamilton any encouragement.

"I don't think it's a free-kick that leads to the goal, it's never a free-kick. I do feel we are a touch too high, but we've got to trust the officials, I think Ogkmpoe's half a yard offside. I've not seen it from a better angle.

"Hamilton showed real spirit and they could've got more, Joe Lewis pulled off a brilliant save with the last kick of the ball.

"There was positive performances but the biggest disappointment is we haven't taken all three points."

  3. 'Impressive' second half showing from Hamilton

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: It was a very impressive second half performance from Hamilton, considering how poor they were first half. They really upped the tempo, whereas Aberdeen struggled to find the quality they had in the first half.
  4. Rice 'delighted' with Accies

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Hamilton Accies head coach Brian Rice has just been speaking on BBC Sportsound, and he's very pleased with his team's display.

"I'm delighted, the lads gave it everything and I cannot ask for more than that," he says.

"They stuck to the gameplan and tried to win the game against a good team. They gave it everything.

"It's a great save from Joe Lewis at the end, a wee bit of luck and it flies in the top corner, but that will come. If we keep working as hard as we're doing, we keep doing the right things, we keep believing, and if we keep working from one another, things will change."

"The last two games have given me great confidence, I can see the confidence coming back to the players. It's imperative we try to stay in this league, we're going to keep working and keep getting better."

  5. Accies 'dragged Aberdeen into a battle'

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Derek Ferguson

Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

Quote Message: Brian Rice certainly got a reaction out his players. That second half was a little more like the Accies of old. They make up for quality with effort and desire. They dragged Aberdeen into a battle.
  6. Aberdeen up to third

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Not that it will be any great consolation to Derek McInnes, but that point does take them back above Hibernian and into third place in the Premiership table,

Hamilton are now three points adrift at the bottom of the table, though they have played two games more than St Mirren.

  7. Post update

    FT: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Derek Ferguson

Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

Quote Message: Brilliant from Moyo, and what a wonderful save from Lewis. That was going to nestle in that top corner.
  8. FULL-TIME Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

At half-time, Hamilton looked like they would be lucky to even have a shot on goal.

By the end of the game, they will feel that they could have taken all three points.

Marios Ogkmpoe's header cancelled out Ryan Hedges' opener, and Joe Lewis produced a stunning save in additional time to stop David Moyo winning it for Brian Rice's side.

    Marios Ogkmpoe celebrates
  9. GREAT SAVE!

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    WHAT A SAVE!

Joe Lewis has not had anything to do all game, and he somehow produces a magnificent one-handed save to stop David Moyo winning it for Accies.

  10. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Frustration for Aberdeen as Niall McGinn manages to stay onside but he can't keep his cross in play.

Three minutes of additional time to play.

  11. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Accies aren't sitting back in the late stages in Hamilton, they think they can win this game.

  12. 'Much better from Aberdeen'

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: That's much better from Aberdeen. At least they're asking some questions now.
  13. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Derek Ferguson

Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

Quote Message: I don't think Kennedy could've hit it any better. It was a brilliant save as well from Fulton.
  14. GREAT SAVE!

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Ryan Fulton to the rescue for Accies.

The home 'keeper saves well from Matty Kennedy, before Ryan Hedges is denied on the follow-up.

Andrew Considine heads over from the resulting corner.

  15. YELLOW CARD

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Scott Martin is the first player into the book for a cynical foul on Funso Ojo.

  16. Time for some changes

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

David Moyo replaces Hamilton goalscorer Marios Ogkmpoe, who looks shattered leaving the pitch.

Niall McGinn and Ryan Edmondson are on for Aberdeen, replacing Greg Leigh and Curtis Main.

  17. Aberdeen 'rocked'

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: There's no doubt Aberdeen have been rocked since equaliser. They're not getting the chance to build the game. It's been much better from Hamilton.
  18. PENALTY APPEAL

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Marios Ogkmpoe wants a penalty, in the same sense that I want to play at a World Cup.

Neither of those things are going to happen.

He races through on goal but Tommie Hoban gets back and clearly takes the ball.

  19. Will McInnes look to his bench?

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

Derek McInnes will be livid at how this second-half has started. Aberdeen were in control at the break, but they switched off from a set-piece and they've paid the price.

They've got a real game on their hands now. Could McInnes try to change something?

  20. Much improved second half from Rice's men

    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Aberdeen

    Derek Ferguson

Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

Quote Message: Accies look a lot better as a unit this second half
