FULL-TIME
Northern Ireland 5-1 Faroe Islands
All over at Seaview. Northern Ireland have delivered emphatically tonight after conceding that early goal. The celebrations from the Northern Ireland players out on the pitch demonstrate what this achievement means to them. The play-offs now beckon.
GOAL
Northern Ireland 5-1 Faroe Islands
Rachel Furness has poked in a fifth Northern Ireland goal at the back post in the 85th minute although it may have taken a deflection off one of the Faroes players. The visitors' opening goal seems a long time ago now.
GOAL
Northern Ireland 4-1 Faroe Islands
Caitlin McGuinness has just increased Northern Ireland's lead to 4-1 after some sloppy work in the Faroes' defence. Some night for the McGuinness sisters. We've 14 minutes left at Seaview.

There'll be smiles all round in the McGuinness household tonight.
Not only has Kirsty McGuinness scored a class goal but younger sister Caitlin has now come off the bench to earn her eighth cap, meaning the two siblings are on the pitch together for Northern Ireland for the same time. Samantha Kelly is also on for Northern Ireland with Ashley Hutton and Emily Wilson the players withdrawn by Kenny Shiels.
Play-off place incoming?

It's hard to see the Faroe Islands getting back into this match now.
Northern Ireland have been relentless in retaining possession since the break and that wonder goal from Chloe McCarron has given them the two-goal cushion they were craving.
As ever, manager Kenny Shiels is on their case from the dugout, but it really does look like NI are on the verge of securing that history-making Euro play-off spot.
A job very well done, so far.
GOAL
Northern Ireland 3-1 Faroe Islands
Anything Kirsty McGuinness can do, Chloe McCarron can seemingly match or perhaps do even better as the Birmingham City player has just lofted in a glorious strike from 30 yards on 55 minutes. Northern Ireland two goals ahead and surely on their way to the play-offs now.
CLOSE!
Northern Ireland 2-1 Faroe Islands
Oh Marissa Callaghan should have made it 3-1 for Northern Ireland but sliced a gilt-edged chance horribly wide after the Faroes keeper could only parry a sharp header from McGuinness. Hopefully that miss won't prove expensive for Kenny Shiels' side, who have been totally on top since half-time.
NI dominant after early blip

They'd prefer a bigger lead, of course, but given the early goal they conceded Northern Ireland can be happy with that first-half performance.
They've dominated possession and have looked dangerous going forward, particularly through Lauren Wade and Kirsty McGuinness out wide and Rachel Furness continually finding pockets of space.
They've looked confident and, if they can keep moving the ball quickly, you would expect the inexperienced visitors to tire after the break.
Rocky start, but so far so good for Kenny Shiels' side.

Nelson's diagonal ball doing damage
Northern Ireland 2-1 Faroe Islands
Mark Sterling
BBC Sport NI at Seaview
Northern Ireland's back three offer a great platform for the team to get on the front foot and play.
Julie Nelson in particular, on the right of the three, is getting on the ball a lot and causing damage with her forward passes.
She seems to be looking for goalscorer Kirsty McGuinness with a long diagonal pass and, in the form McGuinness is in, you get the feeling there could be joy for Northern Ireland in that tactic.
GOAL
Northern Ireland 2-1 Faroe Islands
Kirsty McGuinness has just curled in a glorious goal for Northern Ireland with her so-called weaker right foot. That should settle the home nerves.
Captain Marissa Callaghan did the spade work to set up McGuinness on the edge of the box but she still had a lot to do as she cut inside from the left flank before producing the sensational finish.
CLOSE!
Northern Ireland 1-1 Faroe Islands
Emily Wilson should have put Northern Ireland ahead in the 21st minute as she failed to get the desired contact to a pointblank chance after Kirsty McGuinness' header across the six-yard box. In the event, Wilson's weak effort was gathered on her own goalline by young Faroese keeper Joensen.

Well, that's how you respond to an early setback.
Northern Ireland manager Kenny Shiels is not resting after that equaliser, though, and has been out of his dugout constantly demanding his players "move the ball quicker, make decisions quicker".
He knows how he likes his team to play and Shiels is not shy in reminding the home players.
It's working, too, as NI are knocking the ball about confidently.

What a response! Rachel Furness' header finds the back of the net and it's all square after seven minutes!
A brilliant show of character from Northern Ireland as Furness pounces on the loose ball after the Faroes keeper failed to gather Chloe McCarron's corner.
The header may have taken a touch off Ashley Hutton, but the hosts don't care - it's game on.
GOAL
Northern Ireland 0-1 Faroe Islands
Jensa Kannuberg Torolvsdottir opens the scoring for the visitors after just five minutes with a close-range strike.
This wasn't in the script...
