  3. Post update

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

Rohal Palmer hits a low cross-shot that Asmir Begovic cuts out in the Bournemouth goal.

Fortunately for him the ball breaks to a visiting defender and the danger is cleared.

  4. Post update

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

We're into three minutes of injury time now.

Bournemouth will look to just see this out and keep a clean sheet. Their first on the road this season.

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

Bournemouth use their fourth and fifth subs.

Adam Smith and Philip Billing make way for Nanmdi Ofoborh and Gavin Kilkenny.

  6. Post update

Barnsley win a free-kick about 35 yards or so from goal.

They've kept plugging away but this game's been over for some time now.

Not been a great evening for former Liverpool man Kane.

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

Straight into the action for Rodrigo Riquelme.

The Bournemouth forward exchanges passes on the edge of the area and lashes in an effort at Jack Walton's near post.

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

A third sub for Bournemouth as Lewis Cook exits the action and Rodrigo Riquelme enters it.

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

Barnsley defender Mads Andersen is in the book for a very full-blooded challenge on Dan Gosling.

    Not great.

  12. Post update

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

This has been the perfect response by Bournemouth after their 3-2 home defeat by Preston on Tuesday.

Boss Jason Tindall will be delighted with his side's reaction in what could have been a tricky game.

    Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

Bournemouth make a couple of subs with the game sewn up.

David Brooks and Dominic Solanke are off and Dan Gosling and Jaidon Anthony are on.

  14. GOAL: Barnsley 0-4 Bournemouth

    Sam Surridge (68 mins)

    Sam Surridge scores for Bournemouth

    Game over.

Barnsley are architects of their own downfall again, not once but twice.

First Herbie Kane's pass on halfway plays Sam Surridge in on goal and then goalkeeper Jack Walton can't keep the effort out when it is fired pretty much straight at him.

    Bournemouth going top.

  15. Post update

    Barnsley 0-3 Bournemouth

Lovely effort from Barnsley sub Luke Thomas who lets the ball run across his body and sends a curling effort just wide from 20 yards out.

  16. Post update

    Barnsley 0-3 Bournemouth

Bournemouth get caught out overplaying 20 yards from their own goal and Cauley Woodrow forces a low save from Asmir Begovic at his near post.

The Bosnia international plucks the ensuing corner from the air.

    Barnsley 0-3 Bournemouth

A fourth Barnsley sub, Aapo Halme is on for Michal Helik in defence.

The Tykes have one change left to use, Bournemouth still have five.

  18. Post update

    Barnsley 0-3 Bournemouth

    Barnsley v Bournemouth

This is my first time seeing Bournemouth up close in a little while and I have to say I have been impressed with how ruthless they've been.

They've probably had about two really decent chances in this match and they lead 3-0.

They're going to end the day top of the Championship unless Barnsley can pull off something very special.

  19. Post update

    Barnsley 0-3 Bournemouth

It's just not going to be Barnsley's day.

Callum Britain does wonderfully to work his way into the area down the right and hits a beauty of a low cross across the face of goal but, yet again, there are no takers.

    Barnsley 0-3 Bournemouth

    Barnsley make a triple sub.

Michael Frieser, Clarke Oduor and Luke Thomas are on, Victor Adeboyejo, Callum Styles and Conor Chaplin are off.

A reminder that EFL clubs can make five subs in a game.
