  1. Fans return tomorrow...

    #bbcefl

That's it for our coverage of this evening's EFL matches.

There's more action tomorrow, and it'll be a landmark occasion with fans returning to some games.

Supporters have been absent from stadiums since March, when the first national lockdown was implemented at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Forget the cardboard cut-outs - up to 2,000 people will be cheering on their side from the stands in tier 2 areas.

In the Championship, Luton v Norwich and Wycombe v Stoke are the games which will have supporters present.

If you can't be there, we'll bring you all the action as ever.

  2. How it stands

Here's the picture at the top of the Championship after tonight's results.

Norwich could extend their lead at the top tomorrow, while Bristol City and Brentford have strengthened their position in the play-offs.

    Top of Championship

At the bottom it's largely as you were, after Coventry and Derby drew and Rotherham suffered defeat.

    Bottom of Championship
  3. League Two full-time headlines

    Forest Green celebrate
    • Leaders Newport are held to a 1-1 draw at fourth-placed Forest Green
    • Second-placed Cheltenham move just a point behind the Exiles after a 2-1 victory over Bradford
    • Exeter climb to third with a 4-1 thrashing of Grimsby, while strugglers Scunthorpe win 5-2 at Harrogate
    • Wins for Morecambe and Tranmere, while Colchester and Crawley draw 1-1
  4. League One full-time headlines

    Sunderland celebrate
    • Lincoln go second after coming from behind to beat bottom side Wigan
    • Max Power's leveller earns managerless Sunderland a 1-1 draw with Burton
    • Crewe recover from two down to win 4-2 against Swindon
    • Lowly Rochdale win 4-0 at Plymouth, who had been unbeaten at home
    • Victories for Portsmouth and Northampton, while Oxford are held by Ipswich
  5. Championship full-time headlines

    Preston celebrate

If you're just joining us, here's what you've missed in the second tier this evening:

    • Bournemouth miss the chance to go top of the Championship, losing 3-2 at home against Preston
    • Bristol City and Brentford move up to third and fourth after away wins at QPR and Rotherham respectively
    • Wayne Rooney is denied his first win in solo charge of Derby County after Coventry score a stoppage-time equaliser at Pride Park
    • Cardiff and Barnsley also register victories
  6. FULL-TIME

    Rotherham 0-2 Brentford

Second-half goals from Marcus Forss and Ivan Toney help Brentford secure a third successive win and extend their unbeaten run to eight games.

Last season's beaten play-off finalists are up to fourth in the Championship.

It's four clean sheets in five for the Bees as well.

Rotherham are now four without a win.

  7. Post update

    Rotherham 0-2 Brentford

Young Brentford striker Aaron Pressley, son of former Scotland international defender Steven, is on to make his debut.

Goalscorers Marcus Forss and Ivan Toney are replaced, with Saman Ghoddos also coming on for the Bees.

  8. FULL-TIME

    Bournemouth 2-3 Preston

Preston take all three points despite a fightback from Bournemouth.

The Cherries miss the chance to go top of the table and lose their unbeaten home record while Preston get back to winning ways after losing their previous two games.

  9. GOAL: Rotherham 0-2 Brentford

    Ivan Toney pen (83 mins)

Calm as you like from the spot.

Ivan Toney executes a slow two-step penalty to send Rotherham keeper Jamal Blackman the wrong way and dispatch the ball high into the left-hand corner.

Toney's 13th goal of the campaign. Surely no way back for Rotherham now.

  10. FULL-TIME

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

    Wayne Rooney

Gustavo Hamer's injury time leveller cancels out Colin Kazim-Richards' goal to deny Wayne Rooney his first win as interim Derby boss.

Back-to-back 1-1 draws now for both sides.

  11. RED CARD (Miller)

    Rotherham 0-1 Brentford

Mickel Miller is sent off for that foul on Canos and the Millers will end the game with 10 men.

It was a clumsy challenge from Miller, who was trying to tackle the winger from behind.

He gets shown a second yellow and he can't have too many complaints, although he's only been on the pitch for 10 minutes.

Ivan Toney has the ball on the spot for the Bees.

  12. PENALTY TO BRENTFORD

    Rotherham 0-1 Brentford

Brentford get a chance to double their lead from the spot as we enter the final 10 minutes.

Sergi Canos is fouled by Mickel Miller as the Spanish winger is played in one-on-one by Ivan Toney on the counter-attack.

  13. Post update

    League One latest

Northampton have beaten in-form Fleetwood 1-0, Cian Bolger with the goal early in the second half, to move up to 14th in the table.

There's still seven minutes of normal time at Home Park after a lengthy first-half injury stoppage, but the result is beyond doubt as Rochdale lead 4-0 at Plymouth.

  14. FULL-TIME

    QPR 1-2 Bristol City

Bristol City register a first win in three to move up to third in the table.

Goals from Nahki Wells and Adam Nagy turned things around for the Robins after they fell behind.

Rangers have now suffered back-to-back defeats and have one win from their past five.

  15. Post update

    QPR 1-2 Bristol City

Late chance in stoppage time for the hosts as Bright Osayi-Samuel shoots wide.

Is that it for the Hoops?

  16. FULL-TIME

    Birmingham 1-2 Barnsley

After Scott Hogan put Birmingham in the lead, Barnsley fight back through a Cauley Woodrow penalty and a late goal from Callum Styles to take all three points.

  17. GOAL: Derby 1-1 Coventry

    Gustavo Hamer (90+1 mins)

In comes a cross, it's headed clear and it falls to Gustavo Hamer on the edge of the box who smashes it past David Marshall.

Heartbreak for Derby, but Coventry have deserved that.

  18. Post update

    Bournemouth 2-3 Preston

We are into SIX minutes of added time.

Is there another goal in this?

  19. Post update

    League One latest

Rochdale are going to pull clear of the relegation zone - Stephen Humphrys has put them 4-0 up at Plymouth, who had been unbeaten at home this season.

They're approaching the 90-minute mark at the PTS Academy Stadium, where Northampton still lead Fleetwood by a goal to nil.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORK

    QPR 1-2 Bristol City

Almost a late third for Bristol City.

A Nahki Wells free-kick clips the outside of Seny Dieng's post.
