  1. Good night

    FT: Scotland 3-0 Albania

That's all from this evening's coverage of Scotland against Albania. Thanks for joining us as Scotland made it three wins from three in Group E.

It's all set up to be a cracker on Tuesday in Helsinki, where a Scotland win would put them two points clear at the top of the group with two games in hand, and it would be a massive stride towards qualifying for the European Championships in 2022.

You can read Scott Mullen's match report here.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  2. 'Improved performance needed for Finland' - Corsie

    FT: Scotland 3-0 Albania

Scotland captain Rachel Corsie tells BBC Scotland her side will need to better when they take on group leaders Finland on Tuesday.

She says: "It was a bit of a stuffy performance. We struggled to find that rhythm, but we got the result and that was the important thing.

"Their game plan was to disrupt us. Equally I think we managed the game well, and 3-0 is a good scoreline for us.

"I think we've earned the respect as the top seed in the group. But there will need to be an improved performance from tonight."

  3. Finland 'a huge game' - Weir

    FT: Scotland 3-0 Albania

Caroline Weir is looking forward to Tuesday's top of the table clash with Finland after her two goals this evening.

She tells BBC Scotland: "It's always nice to score for Scotland. I haven't scored many for Scotland so I'll take two goals.

"We'll need to be better overall against Finland. That's a huge game, they're a top team. They're physical, we'll need to be at our best. These are the games you want to play in and we want to win to make it to the Euros."

  4. 'Some nasty challenges' - Weir

    FT: Scotland 3-0 Albania

Two-goal hero Caroline Weir tells BBC Scotland: "It was a tough game. They clearly had a game plan, they made it very difficult for us and the key was not getting too frustrated.

"There was some nasty challenges going in throughout the game and it was about keeping our heads and causing them problems, and creating chances and we got that near the end of the game.

"So 3-0, we'll take that and move on."

  5. How Group E stands

    Scotland 3-0 Albania

Scotland move back into second above Portugal, who beat Cyprus 3-0 earlier this evening.

Portugal face Cyprus again on Tuesday, this time at home. Scotland meanwhile could go top of the group should they win against Finland in Helsinki.

  6. FULL-TIME

    Scotland 3-0 Albania

It wasn't as emphatic as we hoped or expected, but Scotland get the three points which take them to within one point of Group E leaders Finland ahead of the trip to Helskinki next week.

Rachel Corsie scored with a header, and in the second half Caroline Weir scored twice - once from the penalty spot.

You have to give credit to Albania who defended well, while Scotland also haven't played since March and showed a bit of rustiness.

It's now three wins from three for Scotland in the group, with 16 goals scored and none conceded.

  7. GOAL - Caroline Weir

    Scotland 3-0 Albania

Caroline Weir gets her second goal of the night as she sends the goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.

    Goal! - Scotland
  8. PENALTY

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

As the game peters out Scotland are looking for a third to add more gloss to the scoreline, and they have a penalty after Kirsty Hanson is tripped in the box.

  9. Post update

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

There's a free-kick chance for Albania, but Megi Doci sends it over the bar. It wasn't too far away though.

  10. Post update

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

    Julie Fleeting

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Rachel Corsie has been pretty solid at the back. She's certainly been the best of the defenders, has led by example and has scored. I'm not sure how well her partnership has gone with Hannah Godfrey - she's given the ball away a lot and I'd be nervous against Finland if she's going to be so careless in possession
  11. History makers?

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

Scotland are currently six games unbeaten, their best run of form since 2014. Avoid defeat to Albania and it will be their best run since 2010.

The women's side have never gone eight in a row without defeat, so Kerr's side could be the first should they pass both Albania and Finland tests.

  12. Post update

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: We deserve to win this match, we've been the better side, but it's not been a polished performance.
  13. GOAL - Caroline Weir

    Scotland 2-0 Albania

The second goal arrives for Scotland which will ease the nerves for the home side. Erin Cuthbert lays the ball off for Caroline Weir, whose shot takes a wicked deflected and evades the goalkeeper.

    Goal! - Scotland
  14. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Martha Thomas is through on goal who was looking to make it three goals in three caps, but the goalkeeper races out of the box to deny her just on the edge of the box.

Moments earlier Scotland goalkeeper Lee Alexander had to sprint from goal to clear after more slack passing in the Scotland defence.

  15. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Albania break through Endrina Elezaj after a slack pass from Hannah Godfrey, but she makes a poor decision and attempts a pass which trundles out of play when she maybe should have taken a dig at goal.

  16. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Albania's Zylfije Bajramaj is substituted with Kristina Maksuti coming on, the visitors' first change of the evening.

A few minutes later, Mimoza Hamidi is replaced by Qendresa Krasniqi.

  17. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

    Julie Fleeting

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Scotland have struggled to break Albania down, struggled to have the movement and drag players out. We definitely would have thought it would be more than 1-0 at this point in the game.
  18. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Scotland players are claiming for handball against Arbiona Bajraktari who slid in to block Erin Cuthbert's cross, but nothing is given.

  19. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

Scotland make their second and third substitutions of the night.

Martha Thomas and Leanne Crichton come on, with Jane Ross and Lucy Graham making way.

  20. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Albania

The Albanians are furious as Zylfije Bajramaj is again penalised and concedes a free-kick, when it looked like she had won the ball fairly.

She is on a yellow card as well, but thankfully for her hasn't been punished again with another booking.
